Hi Lau, the fish are looking in great condition and nice update. Good point you have made on the measuring bowl and good idea to put the tape on the side instead of the bottom 👍 Keep well and hope the Koi community gets through this cold spell without any issues

Thank you Martin. Yes when I look back how the kujaku was, incredible how he has developed body wise but also the scalation. He has kept his metallic sheen, really like it.

Fish are looking great and it is so nice to see some greenery around the pond. Temperatures here have been up and down a lot lately from rain one day to freezing rain the next to sub zero temperatures the next. 🥶 Not a lot of snow at the moment but it is coming and what little green is left will soon be white. Can't wait for spring to get the outdoor pond up and running again. Here's hoping for an early spring. Looking forward to seeing your new fish. Take care.

Ohh, you have Swedish weather coming. Strange.....We only have British weather in the long term forecast. Awful, grey, humid, rainy and windy weather. Things is upside down. I may have to invest in pond covers going forward, no ice forming, no free pond cover. I sure thought probites winter care first ingredient is wheat germ. What do the manufacturer say they mean with Grain and grain(by)products? I hope your equipment make it throe that cold spell. 🙂👍

Hi Magnus. Definitely no wheatgerm in ProBites. Mike was totally against wheatgerm. It's soya and barley. For some reason, even when it was -6 here a few weeks ago, the filter house lowest temp was 10 at night.

Hi Chris, if you look in my videos, there are 2 videos from last year. One called 'Winter prep for koi pond' where I show what I did for the back of the pond and the side and one slightly after call 'koi pond fully enclosed for the winter' where I show what I did for the front. Hope this helps. I leave all year around the back panels and the side. But the front comes off.

Bloody permafrost frost back up here 🏔 Lau... 🙄 pond down to around 6 now was holding nicely at around 8 until this last cold blast. But unheated so the ground is steadily getting colder. The fish and the system is not worrying me tho, everything seems ok. Just counting the weeks now until the warmer months come back hopefully not too long 🤞

So it's crazy isn't it, down here, the temps hold nicely for a long time, especially being on the coast. And the pond was holding at 12 till last week. But when we had that freezing spell, the pond went down to 4. Pond went back up to 12 in no time and now back to 7. Grrr. But soon, very soon we will be spring again 😁
