Hi Yes hear we are back my first video after the op and a bit of catching up. We had a fish loss one min fine next min she was gone but a fish that had had problems all is long 18 years so and one of my first fish she will be missed. We have had problems with the black slime with dead algae so lot's of cleaning and we use some clay to get shot of the last of the muck. for sales of laser cut art and bits for around your pond hears some links we combine post take a look see what we have

Ill throw my hat in. I've got it in mine, but have not treated for blanket weed this year. There seems to be fine air bubbles with it as well. Ive been doing some upgrades on the filters so had to drop the water level 4 ft. Ive scrapped a load off and slung it in the borders. Still have some on the pond walls but im not wanting to put stuff in the pond whilst the filters build up some strength. Nice to see you back in front of the camera 👍🏻👍🏻

Hi I’ve just subscribed to your channel I also have this happening right now and been like this for a week and a half after I treated with cloverleaf blanket answer so don’t think that’s the issue I’ve looked into biofilm slightly not in depth the first statement was saying it’s due to poor water quality 👀 but I test my water on a regular basis with the columbo kit and all parameters are bang on I’ve now started using columbo clear water for the first time and must say so far I’m impressed with it in my quarantine vat I wasn’t too sure weather to physically remove it but after watching this video it’s definitely the way forward Off to buy a pool brush 👍👍

Give it a good brushing but it can take weeks to get it all out of the pond and system

As it happens I read another subscribers reply saying he used a window cleaner blade and the wife had just bought me one to exactly that it was still in the packet so now belongs to the pond equipment 😁

So good to see you on the mend. Onwards and upwards. I was telling the twisted one other day that I had the same algae this year. I took a window squeegee and ran it down the pond walls and peeled it off in sheets, scooped the big bits out with a net , put some floss in the skimmer and shower and the drum dealt with the rest and wasn’t firing up constantly. Had to give the pond floor a good hoover but 🤞it seems to have done the trick and the green stuff is replacing it. Mine came after using blanket answer so who knows 🤷‍♀️ 🙏🤗

It's just a weed die off but this is the second time it has happened in three years with resolver i never had it happen with cloverleaf answer and have used that countless times over the years.

I had this once myself and then I moved onto the Colombo Algisin and have been fine ever since. Stuff is a nightmare with any sort of Eazy style filtration. I feel your pain. Glad you're on the mend after the op Martyn. Take care mate. 👍🏻

Hi Martyn, glad your on the mend. Just had a week and a half of the black stuff, breaking up going into the Eazypod. Was having to clean the pod everyday at one stage as it was blocking the flow back out !! Almost at the end of it now. As you say it’s just like peeling paint and a right pain in the backside. With me I treated for blanketweed about 5/6 weeks ago and had a bit of it back then. But I haven’t treated since then bang all of a sudden about 10 days ago I got hit with loads of it peeling off. Maybe because of the low spring temps the recent improved water temperature has set this reaction off who knows 🤷- Good to see you back Bud 👌

Good to see you back up and about mate, I hope the op was a good success. I've had this exact problem too with the floating black bits, and coincidentally I used aqua resolve for the first ever time in the spring. Is it just a coincidence that we've both used it and encountered this problem?

I have never had this before using resolver in all my years at this and i end up treating for the blanket weed every year. Use to use Cloverleaf answer and i think i will be going back to it as i never had it with that

Your bio film peeling off is very annoying cant blame you going back to cloverleaf. You reminded me i needed to add clay to mine.
