Ive been a diehard rogue fan since early 2017. At first this announcement scared and angered me. I wrote on twitter that it was a slap in the face after the big year in terms of esport success that rogue has achieved in 2022 to then say 'we're somebody else now.' But this Q&A has really started to ensure me that the values that made me follow Rogue are echoed in KOI, and it is very apparent when interracting with the fans.

as a KOI fan i could say that nobody will take away the achivements of ROGUE before the merge but im certain of only one thing, this community has the best heart, the best intentions and very good values, Ibai is a very good representation of us as fans, we have love for all the ROGUE fans!!!!

It will get better with time. But as you said, they echoed so well, it's clear that good things are coming. I understand your feeling being diehard for Rogue but, really, take this as an opportunity and give it a chance. As someone who's in Spain, not supporting but like sighseeing what Koi does, you will probably enjoy this for a few years.

-They have merged and it's now one company, KOI. So this is not about KOI does this and Rogue does that, they are all and work for the same team. All teams will end up being called KOI, depending on how long it takes to make the changes. -The Superliga roster will be made between the 5 players of AGO Rogue and those of KOI, and although they don't say it, if necessary they will also sign. -They haven't decided anything about the shirts or the logo, so maybe they will decide to redesign the logo or incorporate something in the shirts that could remind us of Rogue, but they are only possibilities. -They will also do English content and English speaking content creators will be hired. -The current KOI account will be the Spanish account, and the Rogue account will become the English account. -In Rocket League we will compete in NA. In the future we may change the region, but for now it will remain there.

I've been a Koi Fans since the day 1, and have literally watched all KOI LoL Matches, to be honest, this merge made me very happy, i didn't know about Rogue, but guys, KOI has fans not only from Spain, but from Latam. Which means our new team, is gonna be bigger, because KOI now will be known not only in Spain and Latam, will be known in 2 continents which means a lot! Maybe some Rogue fans don't see my point, but i think this the perfect oportunity to make great thinks and mix the english and spanish comunity in a new big and international fanbase (something never seen before in any esports team). I honestly so glad they decided to transform the brand from Rogue to Koi instead of going for Rogue-Koi or Koi-Rogue. It doesn't look or sounds good compare to using one of those 2. Rogue logo was never distinct enough to justify. The atmosphere of Esports got way too many logos too similar to Rogue, meanwhile Koi got a more distinctive logo,name and brand which would help Rogue to be more unique,full of personality and easier to sell to sponsors and merch. This Q&A gave me so much tranquility and confidence on this being an excellent move for all parties involved. I praises everyone for this. Both Anna for putting her face there to answers all the questions. To Ibai for putting himself out there too on a languages he's not confidence enough putting his face out there for Rogue fans to know him and answer their questions. Major praise for everyone

As spanish, I see that spanish community try to get in the "international english scene" and can't see the spanish one as it is. Spanish is the second language with most native speakers in the world after chinese. Koi is a really huge step to make big branding to Rogue.

I see many comments in here that they are upset. Totally understandable, but Rogue is not only thinking about themselves they want to grow up, make many content, be better, be the One in eSports. You can say is Spanish Team or whatever you want to say,, but at the end is something that is going to help the whole team you can see some of the staff, receiving love from the fans, they aren't robots they want to expand, meet more people and being heard, not only because they are a LEC team, is to go beyond the league.

Even though I expected this was coming, a few hours before their first match at worlds, I ordered my Rogue jersey. It might not mean anything next year with a different team name, but it's a way to honor your unrelenting spirit to go grab that eluding trophy and cherish the memory. And I hope to have many more beautiful memories for the rest of the world series. Now I just hope my Rogue package doesn't get lost in the mail. Will I become a KOI fan ? Maybe . Will I buy their apparel - most likely not , since as a Romanian fan , the name does not sit well with me.

i've read a lot of comments being concerned about this merge, and i can understand where they came from, but i will try to help you guys understand the good things about this merge. It may look scary at first cause you think KOI just bought rogue and now they will do different things and Rogue as we know it is dead, but let me put another point of view for you: What if i told you this is essentianly rogue expanding to other languages, other games, other communities and trying to be bigger than we were, keeping the same staff and structure that we had? it sounds a little concerning because we are renaming to KOI, but lets be honest, ROGUE were never very good at content creation, or building a big community, or engaging with the fans, so now we are literally hiring someone who is very very good at that, Ibai. ( or is Ibai hiring ana for a good structure ,a good staff and good coaching you can look at it both ways, thats what a "merge" means) If you come from LEC ( As I do) let me tell you this, WE have the same gaming house, we have the same staff, with the same values, Freddy and SeeEl are still there, Odo malrang and the bois are still there, we are the same for the LEC and things are only improving, we are just getting bigger, and in more eSports, more games, more communities. So i ask you now, concerned fan, Is the ROGUE name what you loved about this team? or the players, the staff, and the values? lets give these people a chance, they deserve it, especially now that Ana and rogue made a lot of effort to win LEC , and now they want to expand and try to be more than they were? they have my respect, and i will give them a chance, i hope you do aswell. If you read all of this, I love you.
