The only actor from the golden generation to have lip synced to equal amount of songs of Mohd. Rafi and Kishore Kumar. The reason? He never interfered with the music. If S. D. Burman or Salil Chowdhury in this example said that a song suited this singer better, Dev Anand would agree and concentrated on his skill of acting. None of this "he is my voice" malarkey... In return we got some of the best songs sung by legendry singers in his films.
