It's definitely not just a dac. It's most likely a sound receiver, which acts as a center for video and audio signals with usually some built in dacs and amps.

I will need to re-learn how to aim for one AND because I'm left handed with pen, I will need to *also* re-learn how to tap with my right hand instead of my left... wish me the best. I literally have to start osu! all over again as if I've played 0 hours.
