In order to make this easier the best way to go about this is to aim for 50s and 100s right at the start of the map. Combo does not affect your map accuracy, but it heavily affects your score. By hitting all 300s at the end while getting tons of 50s and 100s at the start you can minimize your acc while maximizing your score.

nalian gonna review his profile like: "you should work on acc" LOL also um... im kind of a new player and like, i didnt realize why those -135 (for example) were appearing next to my profile and why i was i was losing rank... even though i'm kind of too low rank and skill to be actually farming properly, i was still accidentally reverse "farming" without realizing.... my acc ;-; (not that it really matters much and it might be normal rn but yeah lmao i didnt realize thats what was happening) edit: turns out i was wrong lol i was just decaying. still have a lot to learn about this game!

You should change your skin to show 100 when you hit perfect acc, and show nothing when you hit 100ds like it normally would when you hit a note perfectly

I think if you ever try this again you need to keep the music on. No music with an offset just means you're playing 100% to the sounds of the skin and visuals. But I did think of something that might work but requires you to purposely make the hit circles smaller on the skin. If the hit circle is too small for the note by a very small margin and there is no 100's that appear that could mess up the timing just enough to lower the count. I dunno if that works or not cause I don't play enough to know but maybe it would get better results?

The trick is to actually use hidden. 1. You won't focus on approach circles 2. You are more likely to get a higher score By disabling the music you actually made it easier to focus on approach circles which makes hitting them on time way easier.

I don't know what it was in terms of pp but I lost almost 10000 ranks at once this one time I set a new personal high score on one map :D And since I was (and well, still am) new to osu! at that point, I was so confused - I had set a new high score but I lost all the ranks I had gained that day... Later I realized it was probably because my accuracy was way, way worse than on my previous record. osu! sure is a game

I hate so much when I accidentally reverse farm... I (hypotetical) had 96% accuracy on a map, but missed 16 notes(the circle before the last slider) so I tried hard to not miss that circle. I succeded to fc, but with a horrible accuracy of 78%. Lost 45pp, cuz that map was my best in top.

This threw me back to 2015 when i was decaying in ranks, and close to rank 420, and omgforz wanted 420 before me, so he did this exact same thing, get a better score with lower acc and lose pp, good times
