Hi Jen! So glad you are so happy today! I did a paper on The Cherokee because I grew up in a place called Maggie Valley. My uncle did work for the chief of the Cherokee Nation and while my uncle worked this man would tell me stories of the Cherokee. I cried every time over The Trail of Tears. But one story he told me about was George Washington sent spinning wheels and looms to the Cherokee school and soon you could hear the spinning wheels and clacking of looms through all the hills and hollers of the great smoky mountains. .

💐💐💐💐 So sweet of Mr. cinnamon! We caught a sunrise at Bryce Canyon. We got there while still dark, the wind was blowing and it was soooo cold, and it was super cloudy. Those clouds opened up at the perfect time. All of us photogs cheered, and it was so beautiful I cried. You are right...like visiting another planet. ❤❤❤

I absolutely loved Utah, in July 2020 my sister retired sold her home in Seattle, WA and my hubby and I flew out to help her move back to TN. The drive took us 3 weeks, yes during the peak of COVID and we took the long way back visiting 14 National Park from Washington to Tennessee and Utah was a favorite of mine, along with Yellowstone, AMAZING♥

My grandmother lived in LA for at least half my childhood so we spent a lot of childhood vacations in California. I have been to those tourist spots in California. Yellowstone is across the state from us! Grand Canyon is so gorgeous but I have not been on the glass floor that goes out over the canyon! I have been to so many wonderful memories of our National parks!!

There are trees in Santa Cruz, CA like that. I think it took us 10 or 11 people holding hands one time to go around the trunk of the tree.

Funny story, my space cadet hubby forgot my bridal bouquet! We were getting married in a Kansas park in their flower garden with the two of us, two witnesses and a JP. We left the town we lived in(I with my girlfriend and hubby with his friend and we were to meet in the park. Hubby to be forgot to swing by the florist to pick up the flowers!! After the ceremony, bride and groom swung by the florist to pick up the bouquet and placed it in the cooler to take on the honeymoon with us! LOL!

Gorgeous 💙💕💙 I too have photography background and I have Apache,Comanche, Mayan, Aztec, and Spaniard roots, not bad for an old Mexican 🤦🏽‍♀️oh yes I’m a Tex-Mex born raised in Texas 🤭 married to a white man from Iowa🤭🤭 Love your channel 💕💙💕

All of the fluff is pretty but, I absolutely love the pink, yellow and orange!💖💛🧡 and yes, I agree it's more Barbie than the Barbie colorway. Mr. Cinnamon is such a thoughtful man!🤗💐 it's those little things that let you know that he's thinking about you that really warms the heart💝💞 It's nice that Lucas wants to spin with you and learn more about it. It's so special for both of you and will be happy memories for him!💝 Thank you for sharing the pictures! It's absolutely ok with me!🤗 I went to the Grand Canyon several months before the covid lockdown. I took a helicopter ride down to the Colorado River for a boat ride on the river. It was magnificent! I then took the bus out to Eagle Point and saw the eagle and the silhouette of the Indian Princess with her hand on her horse's head. The canyon is magnificent! Wishing you a beautiful blessed day/night!🙏🏻🥰💖

Oh hon that fluff is so beautiful, how can you not be happy when you see that! lol The flowers Mr Cinnamon gave you were all the right colors and SUNFLOWERS!!! He loves you so much and you can tell this because he remembers things like that (not the everyday ordinary stuff lol), like what makes you happy and lights up your brain. And in return you do the same. Love is a beautiful thing. I am half Cherokee but I was adopted illegally and so have nothing to document it. I grew up in Palm Springs with the Aqua Collente tribe as my neighbors and they knew I was of the people when I was a small child. My beliefs are wide as the ocean. Reincarnation, genic memory, belief in the Great Father (aka God). Some people are born a little different and have lots of special gifts. Imagine how awesome Lucas will be with the intellect he has, when he has leaned how to work around his neuro spicy brain. Look how your gift of being able to put your inspirations into creations (like Juju does as well). Life and people are amazing and never ceases to amaze me. Much love and prayers to you all. Are you going to go get your wrist checked out? Just to be sure? Just asking, no judgement.

So happy to see you in such a good mood! Thank you for sharing your love for the national parks. You make me feel a little bit as if I’ve veen there. If I ever have the funds, I want to return to the US and visit the major national parks. Bless Mr. Cinnamon for not only bringing you flowers, but for choosing such a happy, colourful bouquet. You always say you love bright colours. Seems like he remembers. I was already wondering how Little Man would feel about the spinning wheel. Thank you for reassuring him… his worry was so sweet! When you have fibre and a spindle, it doesn’t matter that you have a spinning wheel. That spindle remains part of your spinning life forever. Of course you’ll spin with your spindles! And maybe, just maybe, some day he’ll take to spinning on that wheel as well. Those braids did make me drool. That first braid looks like a braided sunset. And oh, my gosh, those blues and purples of the second one! The muted rainbow one looks rich and gorgeous as well, I think it’s going to spin up very differently once you take the braid apart. If the fibre is a little compacted, steam it. Take the braid apart, stick it in a large colander. Add a bit of water to a pan and bring it to a brisk boil. Set the colander on top (the bottom of the colander should not touch the water) and cover the colander with a lid. Allow to steam for 5 minutes. If need ben rearrange the fibre and steam a minute or two more. Careful though, because that fibre will get HOT. Transfer to a towel and allow to cool. You’ll be surprised at how much compacted fibre puffs up with a bit of steam, and at how much easier it drafts out once it’s dried. I have fingers, toes, arms, legs and eyes crossed your learning to spin at a wheel goes smoothly and easily. I hope you love it and enjoy every single minute of it. Be happy. You deserve nothing less.

I can't wait to see your learning process with the wheel. I've not seen anyone actually spin before. -- When I was a child my playground was the giant redwood forest. It was a magical place. When the wind blew I could hear the trees talking to me....and the wild berries were thick everywhere. I was a very lucky kid. Jen, your landscape images are so wonderful. I always love seeing your pictures when you include them. Thank you :)

Sounds like you’ve been having lots of fun…that’s so awesome that Mr. Cinnamon brought you flowers, I’m blessed that way too…my husband buys me flowers for no reason other than to see me smile. He will also pick wild flowers on our property and bring them to me. The spinning wheel is beautiful, I can’t wait to watch your videos of you spinning some yarn with it. I’ve never tried to spin but I don’t think my wrist would handle it well. Omgoodness I think it’s awesome that you and JuJu spent the evening watching a concert singing and dancing together that’s what it’s all about. When my kids were younger we would always turn on the stereo to dance and sing, we even did it in the car. Those are some great memories we sometimes talk about today. I’ve always listened to all kinds of different genres in music and now my kids are the same way. I love all the photos you shared of the different parks, I’ve never been to any of them. The photos you took are beautiful…thank you so much for sharing them. I hope you’re having a wonderful day…hugs

There is a wildflower that looks like Queen Anne’s lace that is called giant hogweed. We used to have some growing near our cottage when I was growing up. It’s really pretty, and gigantic and I used to always love it, but never actually picked it because of its size. I have since learned it is actually poisonous and will cause skin irritations and burn your skin if you touch it. 😬

Could you do a tutorial on how to spin yarn with a drop spindal. I picked up a vintage box of crochet and knitting needles and a drop spindle board and brush came with it. Idk where it is but in the late 60’s I was 7 or 8. My dad took us on a trip around the United States. We stopped at one national Park and we stopped at many but the one I remembered best was a tree they had cut out a half circle where you could drive your car through my dad thought he was smart with the camper still hooked to the car, he drove through the tree tried to drive through the tree and he got stuck. It was funny then it’s even funny now. I remember another park that we went to. We were on top of the mountain and they like cut the top off and it was all flat and a lake that some kids were messing around by the lake and it was fairly good distance. Maybe because I was only seven or eight from the ground to the edge of the water was a pretty good distance down and they lost these two kids that were messing around thought they were being smart, and they could not find their bodies or them. We also stopped at the Grand Canyon. I mean if there was a national park along the route my dad stopped at it. We left the day we got out of school and we didn’t come home until one week before school started again, it was the best time of my life.
