Bro, holy shit Roshi and Sheera are obnoxious in this. I usually don't mind when they try to act annoyed when something confuses them or something seems inconsistent but them calling out how stupid the glasses are, how mean Senjou is for throwing the drink on him even though he obviously deserved it since he had zero tact to talk like that in front of one of his old victims and how annoyed Roshi was that the glasses etc. "randomly" changed etc. What also annoyed me was how Roshi said that Senjou was stupid for suggesting that Kaiki should work for free to repay her. I have never seen anyone call her out for this before since it would be utterly tactless to do so and because he does in fact owe them a huge debt as well - not to even mention how desperate Senjou was overall. And don't even get me started at how annyoed they acted about Kaiki's internal monologue "lies." Like holy shit, can you get more obnoxious? This is what Monogatari is all about. It's always told from a different character's skewed viewpoint and depending on that character things and the world change at a moments notice in correlation to that characters state of mind. I can't believe they are this far into Monogatari and still haven't grasped that even subconciously somehow - you can see the other reactors rolling with and taking the jokes etc. much more easily without having it interrupt the flow of the story overall. TLDR: I'm glad I didn't pay for their patreon for Monogatari when I was tempted to do it a couple of months ago, I would have gotten so pissed off at them watching this series. I just don't like their vibe when they watch this series. I usually don't mind the two of them but they obviously aren't meant to watch this series, it really doesn't fit with their "poke obnoxiously fun at it" style of reaction that they always do.

@@012egis That's a big point as well. The stupid line of "let me call the police" and all the variations he and his two buddies ALWAYS use aren't funny anymore. It just comes off as preachy and unoriginal, get a new joke ffs.

Let s be real here, they could barely follow what was being spelled out for them on screen. I sometimes watch their reactions on dumb fun shows, but anything that requires even the slightest bit of attention is just gonna be a pain to go through
