For those curious, the ending will remain the same no matter which character attends the Award Ceremony as the Super Star (you can view it again at any time after the credits via the Party Pad). The only change if Bowser is on top is Bowser Jr. doing the last clapping and proclaiming the next party.

@@picoultimate7707 What exactly happens there if you play as Goomba, Diddy Kong, Bowser Jr., Boo, Wario or Bowser in the Challenge Road game mode - if that is possible there? [Wario and Bowser *_are_* unlockable right from the very start of the video game... *_RIGHT..._* ...especially when Waluigi and Bowser Jr. are playable characters in this video game; and that only Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Dry Bones and Pom-Pom (a.ka. the 4 playable characters whose pictures/icons are hidden by question marks over blacken out silhouettes until you unlock them) seem to be the only unlockable characters in this video game???!]

They're more like Rivals than actual bosses. And I believe those characters you face in the end is completely random except for Diddy Kong (which you need to face in order to unlock him) in Normal challenge

Benz Krua yeah. Sometimes Pom Pom is a boss for world 5 but even if she isnt. You still unlock her after completing it.
