Okay you’re my favourite KZbinr. Stamp on it. I’m not a company stan or wtv but JYP artists are doing great imo. I like music. A well composed song and even if a song is not my taste, I like that JYP artists have this uniqueness to themselves! And despite the fact that most song nowadays sounds like TikTok audios or NWJS copycats, JYP artists are not afraid to do their own thing, get criticised but still evolve in their own section and I love this so much!

I realized I might be a JYPE stan because all my overall faves are there. I we can ignore the toxic netizens, you can really see they are a company that wants the best for their artists. I'm sure in the past there was struggle, but after that comes growth and we can see it in the music. It's almost like I want "I Got You" to be for all the groups.

Because when I think about very good vocalist today, ofc SM/YG and many other company come in mind but JYP artists bring versatility to the table, personal concept. Nmixx are criticised every single day, they still release the same songs, they’re not trying to pls anyone, Straykids were not doing great domestically but look where they are now? I need more than just generic tiktok/challenges worthy songs, and JYP artists never disappointed me so far! They use the same recipe then add new flavors everytime and I’m rlly grateful for that!

When you're really connect with the music and are vibing to it, you become the best reactor on YT (you're already one of the best). Your enthusiasm is really contagious, especially because you're able to articulate so well your thoughts. I wouldn't consider myself a big ITZY fan, although I do enjoy some of their music, this album had me on the floor. Quite impressive collection of songs, with the OT5 versions of the songs released earlier this year as the cherry on top. This is legit AOY material, and quite possibly - bold words - my favorite release by any Big4 group yet. That's how much I liked this.

Imaginary Friend kinda reminds me of Will I Ever See You Again by Red Velvet and I feel like I would’ve rathered it be like this. As much as I love the instrumental chorus and almost emptiness in the song of Will I Ever See You Again, Imaginary friend just does something that makes it feel empty but full and just so fulfilling. Probably my favorite song off the album.

One of the girls (Yeji?) said in something recently that they chose Imaginary Friend because of how much they liked it and GOLD to be the performance track. I think maybe they just didn't want to do the vogueing concept right after Le Sserafim did CRAZY because ITZY is always the original, never a copy.

Something I think Itzy’s team has finally learned to do is write/choose songs that actually suit their vocal tones. I heard it first in Lia’s solo in the last album where she finally got to use her low range. She has such a rich, emotive tone down there. When she sings up high she can struggle with pulling up too much and her sound gets stuck in her nose sometimes. But in her low range she shows just how much control and musicality she has. This whole album is just a masterclass of how to write songs that showcase vocal talent (like you said) without relying solely on high notes, and not just for Lia but for ALL of them. Brilliant!!

Hiii, do you plan on reacting to FIFTY FIFTY redebut with S.O.S and Starry Night? I think you will enjoy their vocals (check Weekly Idol).
