the thing about flower rhythm, candy crush and air is that they are meant to reference the previous songs released by them -- algorithm by heejin, plastic candy by haseul and air force one by odd eye circle (in the same order). they used a lot of samples, but i think air is the most obvious one, and candy crush sounds A LOT like plastic candy but i guess not a lot of people heard that (haseul sounds beautiful in it though) love from brazil!! your reactions are great!

As far as I can tell the concept of Virtual Angel is a false savior that presents as something nice but leads you to a bad ending. The five of them were born from that one being at the end of the MV, which I think is what Birth was setting up in it's MV with how dark and not cool that glowing being was for them. I also think it's an ear worm of a song, I wasn't super high on it at first but the more I hear it the better it sounds

i definitely recommend heejins solo album its even underrated amongst fans i seldom hear people acknowledge the art that it is.. really a masterpiece from start to finish.. the songs go kehwa, algorithm, sad girls club, video game, nokia, addiction in that order and the album is called “K” if you want to check it out

I don't agree about the bass thing, I think the production is intentionally bright on mid and highs even metallic sounding for the angelic effect. The base would have been a little out of place in the concept, even if it musically would have sound more conventional and full.

There's a billion songs that have an angelic effect and still have a bass to anchor the sound. Frank ocean pink + white coming to mind or Cleo Sol Lost Angel or Mariah Carey Angels Cry (interlude) or bliss and in the genre of V.A it's even easier to add a bass to drive the song. I'm sure it's intentional though but you can definitely have a bass within the concept. Also are you writing the same thing with 3 different accounts? lol

Agree that Virtual Angel would sound better with added bass. I also feel like it would fit with this goddess concept they have going on, reflecting the powerful and intense energy from Birth and the dark imagery in the Virtual Angel mv

First off let me start by saying, this is only my opinion and I 100% respect your thoughts on the song...I actually feel different about the bass in Virtual Angel. I think that adding too thick of a bass changes how I'd feel about the concept of the song. Traditionally we're used to hearing a more grounded thick bass in dance tracks and a song like this could sound too hollow, but I personally think that taking out some of that bass makes it feel more dreamy and less grounded which adds a different atmosphere to the song. To me it fits that Ethereal and wispy vibe of celestial Angels not from this world. While it's not a standard mix, I kind of like the choice to make it feel less grounded, and slip more into that airy dreamy sound as opposed to a thicker and darker atmosphere. But just my 2cents and they don't really mean anything at the end of the day xD

they have the best vocalists of loona and yet they give these girls SCRAPS. their pd doesn’t know how to evolve the girls, they can rlly do it all and it feels like they are just another unit of triple s (respectively these gils have A LOT more experience).they need some SM type of production to reallly highlight their talents imo 🤷🏻‍♂️
