It’s because they have a really good chemistry as a group. And the fact that they see each other as an extension of their families, not just co-workers they see everyday, which explains why they are comfortable with skinship. What I see in most groups, you see them cringe and usually only do it for fan service or make it as a form of entertainment for their fans. What I see in A.C.E is that they are very intimate with their feelings for one another as if they’re actual brothers and that’s why they’re my ult idol group.

I still think Shinwoo will be the endgame, but I like how well Taekyung fits with Daon. Taekyung thought he only needed himself and not others, and Daon thought he needed to please everyone over his own desires, but they pushed each other out of their comfort zones after becoming friends. They even out each other's weaknesses and become better people as a result. Relationship goals.

During the first ep, i did ship daon and taekyung, but as more episodes go by, i think, taekyung is always the one who pays extra attention to daon, but when it comes to shinwoo, he pays great attention to taekyung. its true that daon needs someone like taekyung, but i think, for taekyung's sake, being with shinwoo is better.

@@kthekith1889 Yeah at first I thought Daon and Tae are perfect for each other because Shinwoo is never direct with his words and is rather subtle while Tae is someone who is straightforward and that Daon complements him more but that perception for me changed as it progressed. I think Daon is someone who belongs to everyone and at the same time to no one. It's like even if he is in a relationship, he will still give mixed signals to others making you wonder if you are any special to him at all. He is quite unpredictable with a constant smile on his face. He hides his real emotions and is difficult to read. Shinwoo is predictable and easy to read once you know where to look at. His actions are mainly subtle, he was quite direct in ep 8 tho which is a good thing. But he always has a pattern. You can know what he is thinking from his face. Once Tae knows the signs Shinwoo can be easy going. Also Shinwoo loves Tae dearly. There is just something about "silent love" silently taking care of someone, not forcing your feelings on someone, it's just so pure.

Hm. Well from what I see, taekyung and daon don't really fit. Daon thinks too much what others will think rather than his opinion. Taekyung is too honest for Daon and will end up hurting him. This is why Shinwoo is best choice for Taekyung. He thinks of Taekyung more than himself and he isn't scared of people's opinion. Although Daon changed in later episodes, but well shinwoon remains the best for Taekyung.

From the last couple of scenes and the most recent episode (8) I feel like taekyung confesses to daon but daon with his familial problems gets in his own head and rejects him, that's probably why he was looking regretful while sitting on the couch and why taekyung was crying. That's also probably why we see a hand reaching for sleeping daon's face but then pull back.

actually Tae’s crying scene is when he’s wearing a different outfit from episode 8 so it’s a different episode. The video Sohee is watching in the preview of episode 9 is probably a video of Tae’s confession and Daon rejecting him. That video prob goes round the whole school which will result in Tae being bullied (hence the crying scene) & Daon being picked on (hence the scene in the trailer where Sohee stands up for Daon saying “you can bad mouth me, but not Daon). Daon sitting on the couch is prob from he regretting rejecting Tae but realizing it’s too late when Tae starts falling for Shinwoo.

It seemed like Shinwoo was bullied in middle school because of this same reason that someone outed him and those guys were blackmailing him for his sexuality. So he will maybe open up to him and comfort him. Maybe this could be the start of Tae catching feelings for Shinwoo as he will start to see Shinwoo differently after this.
