No idea how Party envisioned this but from the scenario I think it went like this: After Hiroki moved in with his Grandpa his Grandpa noticed a change in him, seeing the potential in Hiroki he introduced Hiroki to his father. His father revealed he faked his own death to avoid assassins who targeted him for his work in creating the white room, but despite the reunion Hiroki was immediately placed among generation 5 (Gen 5 because he joined WH late and growing up with Ichika and Yagami will explain why they have the familiarity now as it would hard for Hiroki to become a legend in such a short time while separated from them). Despite how far behind Hiroki was due to everyone else there being in the white room for much longer, Hiroki adapted at an inhuman speed surpassing all the other children there, which is why Yagami will end up becoming resentful and Ichika will see Hiroki as a god in the future. Hiroki focused so much on the whiteroom during such a short time that due to the trauma and the immense demand the whiteroom has, Hiroki completely forgot about his past and he suppressed all his emotions becoming emotionless. Ik it's alot of yapping, but when I see videos like these I love making Hiroki becoming these characters, make sense.

For Kokujin, he abandoned the girls and focused completely on training and academics after hearing about ANHS. Kokujin put aside his lustful tendencies and became sadistic, only caring about his class reaching the top, even if he maintained flirty tendencies (Explaining why he flirted with Suzune but didn't try to seduce her). When Kokujin rivaled against Hiroki he didn't recognize him, his fear when he was being beaten was when he remembered who Hiroki was while being beaten by him. After Hiroki met up with Kokujin (After the fight when Koji and Ryuen met up), Kokujin tried to make amends but Hiroki admitted he doesn't remember him and Kokujin didn't push him any further. In other words Kokujin isnt a lustful POS just a normal POS now.
