The saddest part of Duel Master Charge is how this was the last season to properly adapt the manga. When I found out how they didn’t adapt the rest of Shobu era manga into the anime, I thought it was because the anime was too close to the manga and while that led to Season 3 & 4 taking place in a alternate timeline. Those seasons bought enough time that they could have adapted Fighting Edge and Star Cross instead of doing a soft reboot with Cross and Cross Shock.

Did Shobu defeat Death Phoenix? I read the original manga first series that end with Zakira's win. I only read in wikia that Zakira would change deck to gods.

@@gamakaga9777 oh you’re talking about if Shobu defeats Zakira and stop FUA, if so then the answer is yes. Fighting Edge picks up where Charge left off in which Shobu train to get stronger by going to Spain, in which he reunite with his father who told him that FUA is currently going after the top duelists in the world so they won’t oppose them. After fighting FUA in both Spain and Egypt, Shobu and friends compete against FUA in the World Championship tournament that ends with Shobu defeating Zakira. Star Cross happens next in which the first Duelist known as Adam is being revived and seeks to wipe out humanity, Shobu and friends defeat both Adam and his followers, but the arc end with Shobu presumably dying from his injuries and the duel arena he was fighting Adam in being destroyed.

I just hate how this ended I wouldn't have mind so much if theybwouldnhave continues the story but they just moved on it just feels unfinished

I think the reason for why they did this was because of a couple of factors, season one and charge was bit loosely based off the manga, but because the Manga was on a monthly magazine , not to mention a ongoing card game to to promote they couldn’t just wait for years for the manga to produce enough chapters for them to adapted, they obviously need the anime to promote the TCG for years and they probably had the anime go on a separate route for The manga.
