@TerraBuns3 жыл бұрын
@@raydai9541 Not necessarily. Having videos where someone is actually speaking vs. needing to read subtitles is more accessible for people who are blind. That's why on formal streaming services like Netflix, they sometimes have "descriptive audio" tracks which not just have the movie audio, but also descriptions of what is happening on screen. Unfortunately I don't think this is a feature on KZbin.

I bought the roller, 2 sets of bobbin, and a set of the cutters. I saved a lot of space by rolling out some of my most used tapes and am loving how clean the edge of the cutter is since I don't even have to pre-cut my tape to fit it to my spreads. I'm definitely going to save up to get a few more bobbins!

I have lots (191) rolls of washi and during 2020 I came up with a better way for me to store my collection as I didnt have the space and I didn't want to spend money on a storage bin/container. I had these long thick card (250mmx190mmx3mm) in my stash and I wrapped some washi around the card until I had filled the whole card. I managed to wrap 14 rolls of the standard size washi rolls and I can see straight away what tape it is and how much I have. I ended up in a wrapping fever and my washi card organizer was organized (by theme), wrapped and stored in a old shoe box (as oppose to 4 different containers) in just a few days. I did have moments where I thought I was ruining my collection by not having them in their original form but then I remember WHY I was doing it in the first place and I'm not so precious about it anymore.

@colorful-lulu3 жыл бұрын
Hey your system seems really good! Quick question: what kind of thick card do you use? Do you use normal paper cards or plastic cards? I just think if you use paper cards that area that sticks to the paper wouldn't unstick to the paper.
@BewareTheLilyOfTheValley Жыл бұрын
This sounds like an idea JetPens shared about using up washi tape, but taken to the extreme 😂. Their idea was to just wrap the tape around some small cards to decorate them and give your friends and family a washi tape sampler. You instead turned it into a permenant feature for your collection and that's awesome!
@mardiweber29513 жыл бұрын
Very cool! Unfortunately (well, actually fortunately) I have hundreds of rolls of washi tape. It would cost me a fortune to put them on bobbins. Right now I keep certain ones on a big ring. Others are in plastic containers. I’d like to find clear acrylic drawers that I could store them in. I want to put them tape side up, not inner roll side up. I love to see all the colors and patterns.

I think it's a good product to travel with. Say you have a stationery backpack or a planner bag going to a planner party or to a cafe to write a letter or Bullet journaling. Instead of taking only 3 rolls of washi tapes you have an assortment of washi tapes on the bobbins that you can choice from. But like you said, it's cute but it's something that you might not get any use out of it.

I’m sure it’s just different enough that u can’t use sewing bobbins with their device. But you could also easily wrap washi manually on them and get the same thing. this looks like a must-have, for a washi fiend like me. but, how big are the bobbinsHh & W are there sleeves or cases to store them in? I like being able to see my tapes and, other than taping an inch or so to the side, once it's in of the little cutter thing, this system doesn't seem to let you see them well without pulling them out, and then you can't roll them back in easily or did I miss something? some clarity please, thanks! and lastly, do the cutters stack up well to store on a shelf?
Can the case with cutter and petite cutter be used with just the washi tape roll or does it only work with a bobbin?

My washi tapes are currently stored between a tin box I got at Walmart that had empty seed envelopes in them (I should grab one more of them berore summer is out, the lid on my current one is a bit warped but I like the container), and from anotber starionary website, they also sold these small, ornate boxes that are quite cute. Ideally though, when I get a larger desk, I want to a clear desktop station that I can see the washi tape easily within. The otber containers will still carry my other scrapbooking items.

I like this tool. But my only concern is the teeth to tear through the washi tape. Sometimes the plastic teeth are not strong enough to tear through washi tape. I was hoping it was metal teeth on the product. Because in my opinion metal teeth is strong and pointer to tear through the thin and thick washi tapes that are out there on today market. But in all nice product.

Cool concept but I prefer the method of just wrapping a few tapes on a gift card and tucking it in my planner. The bobbins would still be too bulky for my lifestyle. I don’t carry a pencil case. I just keep my go to pen in my pen loop on my planner, washi on a card and post it’s on a dashboard.

True - though you could wind them onto something, then off onto something else to get them back into the correct direction. I am not clear how you would achieve that with this system, though.
