Kol deserved some happiness. Kol is the Michealson that has changed the most and he was changed by love...that is what makes it so sweet. If Kol forgives his siblings, I will be so disgusted that I'll probably stop watching.

Actually. when Vincent brought her to himself and Kol. she was pulled from that shattered soul. While shattering the magical link between the ancestors and the witches, when the flash of light happens she hears her name and opens her eyes. So she did find peace in death. Of course, she suffered first but she took her last stand and ultimately was given peace.

I don't think Kol ever forgave them fully I think even through out season 5 he held onto a bit of anger and hurt that's why he would come around to help Hope but wouldn't stay any longer than necessary, I loved Kol most out of all the siblings cuz he never bought into that always and forever bull when the vow was made it was really only between Klaus Elijah and Rebekah Kol was always left out of everything the whole 1000+ years and I think Freya and Elijah sacrificing Davina was his last straw I think no matter what happens in their family Kol will always resent them and be ok with not being close to them or around he's only ever around for Hope, he says to Marcel season 5 he spent over 1000 years trying to be a part of always and forever but now he could care less about it and Marcel asked what changed and Kol says he met a girl that to me means the only ones he truly cares about is Davina and Hope yes he still cares for the rest but he'll always hold a grudge towards Elijah Freya and Klaus cuz they're the ones who've hurt him the most but it's Davina and Hope he'll do anything for

Rebekah her love life was always denied by klaus until finally she got married to marcel, Elijah? he lost the love of his life because he couldn’t cope with the hurt of not being close to his brother his family so he couldn’t remember Hayley, Finn?
