Thanks for the video on folding the wings not a single person job, so rules this out for me I need a trailer. I guess only the Kitfox, and Just aircraft highlander, or superstol really are the only single person wing folding capable. I don't know why not more then just a few with hanger fees.

I want a Kolb but seems like there are lots of single points of catastrophic failure. That rear bolt snaps holding your tail wings down and they fold up like instantaneously and your going down. Any of the four bolts or fittings holding the struts snap and one wing folds up and your going down. Any of the four root bolts holding the wing to the fuselage give way... and you got an emergency.

Looked though NTSB reports about 15 fatal accidents from 2007-2018 none of them were from wings folding 90% were from stall spins after take off or in the traffic pattern. I would say mostly pilot error probably from not enough training how to handle the controls during slow pattern fight or engine failure after take off.
