Kolej Meranti Last Day 2023 Room Tour

Hey guys, Averroes here. In this video, I'll be showing you guys around Kolej Meranti here in UiTM Shah Alam. It is located to Seksyen 2 of Shah Alam. It is the only college outside the gates of UiTM. Starting from June 1999, it has officially become a college for male students which can accommodate up to 700 students. It has many facilities and amenities that we can access to, but not limited to;
1) Gym
2) Washing Machines and Dryer
3) Pantry for Cooking
4) Hall
5) Surau
6) Study Room
The college is also near the food court, KFC and McDonalds around the area and closer to the Shah Alam State Mosque. We can also walk to the Shah Alam Park or Lake (Tasik Shah Alam) around maybe 5 minutes and jog and do other recreational activities such as kayaking, picnic and have lunch by the lake. Not to mention, it is located near three malls, which are PKNS, SACC Mall and Plaza Shah Alam Mall.

How is the bus schedule there in Meranti? Is it often?

Depends, it's usually active 7-8 am, then noon, and then by the end of the day at 5-8pm from my observation

I must say Uitm shah alam dorm is really bad compare to others Uitm🥲. 4 people in that tiny place?

I just got a place in kolej meranti as a law student, may i ask how much you pay per sem and do we only stay there for sem 1 only?

If I can recall, it depends. A room of 4 people is just around RM200, while a room of 2 is RM400. You will definitely get a spot in Sem 1, but you need to apply online every subsequent semester later on.

Is there anywhere in the college that has a sitting toilet instead of a squatting one?

All the toilets are squats, there's only one seated toilet which is right next to the laundry room at the main office building

Yes there is, but it's been under maintenance since August, the last time I left at Blok B

Sampai sem 8 boleh, asalkan bukan kereta and park motor tempat betul, takut kena rantai tayar and bayar denda

Just stairs, some are unlucky to get 5th floor

Sem 1 boleh bawak kenderaan tak?

Students are not allowed to park cars dalam kawasan kolej, tapi boleh park dekat luar pagar tpi ada risiko. Paling selamat boleh bwk motor park dlm kolej.
