Located 600kms from Bengaluru is most famous temple of Mahalakshmi constrcted by Chalukya Empire during 7th Century.

2. Phadatare Misal Center
Established in the year 1974 is famous pitstop at Kolhapur where they serve variety of amazing Misal Bread. Priced at 70 is fast seller and people stand in queue to have this food.
Definitely a must try when you are at Kolhapur

3. Shri Mahalakshmi Annachhatra Seva Trust
When you are at Kolhapur temple trying Annaprasadam at Mahalakshmi temple premises is definitely divine.
They give one Token for lunch when you go for darshan, if you carry that to the Annachatra .. they serve meal.
Pulav , Payasa was really good. Give it a try when you visit Kolhapur

Kolhapur is definitely famous for Kolhapur Chappels. So we wanted to explore the variety of Kolhapur Chappels and visited the famous Kolhapur Chappel Street.
The prices are ok and reasonable, definitely you need to bargain to get a good deal.

Gurudaya Pan shop is one of the oldest shop which serves amazing Authentic Solkadi at Belagavi. Ideal to visit in the afternoon after full meals.
