It is not just about making women physically strong. Joining the gym may help build strength and create an illusion of becoming strong. However, when in incidents like these, it may barely help. No matter how physically strong you look, if you get attacked by 5-6 people, there is little you can do. For women, specifically, they are by nature not as strong as a grown man no matter what. This is also the reason you have different events for men and women in Olympics or any sports. There is no match. The only thing that can help is STRONG JUDICIAL LAWS. Gym, CrossFit, Strength traising will come down in the list.
