आप अच्छी बातें करतीं है, इसमें कोई संदेह नहीं। अपितु आप सम्पूर्ण समाज के एक अटूट भाग भी हैं जो धर्म के आधार पर चलता है, अर्थात धर्म से ही लोकतन्त्र, और धर्म ही विश्व के कल्याण करता है तथा मानव को प्रगति और विकास के लिए प्रेरित करता है। इसलिए आप सब को यह जानकर घोर अधर्म को रोकते नहीं, अर्थात उसे जड़से विनाश नहीं करते, तो आप सब अधर्म के साथ देनेवाले होंगे, समर्थक, अनुयायी, घोर महापापी, अधर्मी, घेर अन्यायी होंगें। यदि आप सभी अपने सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व को त्यागेंगे और केवल कीर्तन, जाप, भक्ति आदि में लीन रहेंगे, मैं भी समझ सकता हू, क्योंकि कुछ लोग का शान्त स्वभाव होता है जिसे जीव का हिंसा करना आता नहीं। परन्तु जिन म्लेच्छासुरों को आता है, उन्हे हम सब के चिन्तन कभी नहीं सताते। पर क्या शान्त स्वभाव वाले लोग, भक्तिभाव आदी में लीन होनेवाला और होनेवाली माताएँ, क्या वे तब भी शान्त रहे सकते जब उनके ही आगे, कुछ धूर्त, दस्यु व गुंदे, तुम्हारे अपनों को, पुत्री-पुत्र, बंधू-बाँधव, मित्र जन को सुरक्षाहित कुछ नहीं करोगे? चुपचाप देखेंगे? अर्थात, समाज को बचाने के लिए, स्वस्थ रखने के लिए, अपना कर्तव्य छोड़ कर भागेंगे? क्या श्री कृष्ण और प्रभु राम अपने कर्तव्य से चूक गए थे। यदृच्छया चोपपन्नं स्वर्गद्वारमपावृतम्। सुखिनः क्षत्रियाः पार्थ लभन्ते युद्धमीदृशम् ॥२-३२॥ Parth ! This war, which has come to you without your doing, is an open door to Heaven (Celestial Abodes, Higher Planets). Only fortunate Kshatriya's get an opportunity to fight such a righteous war. अथ चेत्त्वमिमं धर्मयं सङ्ग्रामं न करिष्यसि। ततः स्वधर्मं कीर्ति च हित्वा पापमवाप्स्यसि ॥२-३३॥ If you walk away from this war, which is for Protection of Dharma, you will not only slip from your duty but also loose fame and also incur sin. स्वधर्ममपि चावेक्ष्य न विकम्पितुमर्हसि। धर्म्याद्धि युद्धाच्छ्रेयोऽन्यत्क्षत्रियस्य न विद्यते ॥२-३१॥ At least after realising that this is your Duty, you should not hesitate. There is nothing more auspicious to a Kshatriya (Soldier, Warrior, Police) than the righteous War for Protection of Dharma (Eternal Law of Sustenance). देहिनोऽस्मिन्यथा देहे कौमारं यौवनं जरा। तथा देहान्तरप्राप्तिर्धीरस्तत्र न मुह्यति ॥२-१३॥ Just as the soul which is in the body has infancy, youth and old age, it also attains a new body. Brave, do not panic over this. अशोच्यानन्वशोचस्त्वं प्रज्ञावादांश्च भाषसे । गतासूनगतासूंश्च नानुशोचन्ति पण्डितः ॥२-११॥ You are grieving for the people who should not be grieved for. Just as learned, do not grieve about the dead, so do they not grieve about the people who are going to die. 2-11 Now, maybe all of you are thinking not to be a Kshatriya. However, mother and father, as in Sanskrit, the letters 'm' mata, and 'p' pita,' means to protect. When you married, both of you had put your feet on a stone, shila, which means for you both to protect as spouses from any hostile force that wants to rip you apart, defend. Hope this helps....
