Ropeway will be not a right decision for more people density area. It's better for monorail in sort routes. Like 1. Tollygunge to Ruby. 2. Jadavpur to Metro ( East-west) Satyajit Roy stattion. 3. Kalighat to Ballygunge. 4. Shyambazar to Sealdah. 5. Howrah Station to Satragachi. 6. Saltlake to Newtown.

It is a great Idea to start monorail and ropeway to improve the transportation. Now lets see when it will done. I saw many countries in Europe and Thailand also and I realize that Kolkata have to improve a lot in many area. Mainly, Transportation need to improve, Pollution need to control fully etc

It's totally bogus Ropeway and monorail is very light. Just see the detail map of Kolkata. Delhi doesn't had a decent suburban railway. they made Metros across all suburban areas. Kolkata have a decent suburban railway but lacks total road space. And many area of Inner Kolkata lacks metro network like College street, Park Circus, Ultodanga, Kankurgachi, Gariahat. And ropeway or monorail wouldn't be able to take the load of the passenger. Only New Town can successfully run LRT.
