Finally, Kolkata food series begins from here! This is the part 1 of Kolkata Food Videos and I am so excited for you guys to see it.
Kolkata is rich in its heritage, diversity, cuisine and hospitality. It was so much fun to explore the city of Joy for 4 days and this is just the beginning. Make sure you stay tuned for rest of the videos and share this one too.
In this video, we start the trail with the iconic Sharma Tea House. The kachoris and chai there is to die for. Then we went to Gupta Brothers to have some sweets and water. Taking a stroll in yellow ambassador cars, we went to two places which are like "aan shaan" of Kolkata - Victoria Memorial and Nizam's. Nizam's is the place where Chicken Kathi Rolls were invented (as they say).
I had always heard about how the Kolkata Biryani was different than the rest and I had to try it to know. Certainly, using potato in biryani was something new to me. Arsalan Biryani has to be on your list if you come to this city. Ended my day by going to Anadi Cabin. It is an institution in itself. Mughali Parathas and Chicken Cutlet is a real deal here guys.
