First of all thanks for watching my video :) Well in terms of seating arrangements if you compare a VOLVO AC bus with a AC CHAIR CAR coach of a train..I have felt more comfortable in a train's ac chair car coach because it seemed more spacious and also even it is a VOLVO bus, still while cruising the roads you will feel much more jerks as compared to jerks felt in a train..though VOLVO bus will be better than train's non ac coach as it will be crowded..even in the reserved non ac ones too..and in terms of timing too trains are way faster..Tamralipta exp and kandari exp takes 3Hr 20 mins..Digha ac exp takes 3hr..volvo takes over 5 hours from barasat

Misleading title... Barasat is not Kolkata...

Yess barasat is not in Kolkata..its in north 24 parganas..but its in kolkata suburbs and it also has kolkata pin code only..it is also a part of the area covered by kolkata metropolitan devlopement authority..in that case saltlake newtown rajarhat sector 5 nothing falls under kolkata..all are in north 24 parganas..but they all have got kolkata pin code and falls under area covered by kolkata metropolitan developement authority..So if a bus departs from karunamoyee bus stand it will not be considered as kolkata?? Kolkata is used to make people understand easily..because with that name people from all over the country and from all over the world will be able to easily understand we are talking about which place..tell me one thing howrah station is not in kolkata..but still people from all over the world know that if they have to go to kolkata they need to take train to howrah..moreover Indian Railway has kept the name of Howrah - New Delhi Rajdhani express as Kolkata Rajdhani..but howrah does not fall in kolkata so go and complain that it is a misleading name..try to understand i have used kolkata in the title so that it is easier for people to find a video of a bus from kolkata or kolkata suburbs to digha..thanks for watching

Thanks for your reply. Barasat is the district headquarters of the district North 24 Parganas , how anyone can call it Kolkata , a different district. It's like someone is calling Jalpaiguri (town) , the district headquarters of the district Jalpaiguri is in Alipurduar , a different district. Please note the scale of Indian Railway operations before comparing. If no other specific name is mentioned for long distance bus routes Kolkata means Esplanade bus terminus. That is why the title of this video seems misleading to me.
