This video shows our trip from Kolkata to Ranchi by car. Ranchi, the capital city of the state of Jharkhand, is a very popular weekend destination from Kolkata. On the way, we visited the Dassam Waterfall. This video also gives information of the ticket prices, the parking costs, the route, the road conditions, where to have breakfast and time taken. We stayed at the Hotel Birsa Vihar in Ranchi. This hotel is maintained and operated by Jharkhand Tourism Development Corporation (JTDC). This video also shows the property and its room price. Regarding direction apni nh 33 Tamar er por chhere left niye khunti hoye gumla hoye jashpur chole jaben. Jashpur theke apni kusmi hoye ambikapur chole jaben road is overall good tobe kusmir 15 km aage porjonto rastar kaaj hochhe aar Ambikapur dhokar aage surface ta ektu rough.

I have a trip planned in Aug mid to Ranchi, Patratu and Netarhat. . Google maps gives two option 1. Kolkata to asansol then ranchi 2. Kolkata to kharagpur then ranchi Which route you suggest considering rainy season

I would suggest the road via Kharagpur and Jamshedpur. When I took this route, it was wonderful. You will love driving on this route. It was in excellent condition when I drove on it.

You will have to ask the hotel staff before booking whether the hotel is pet friendly. Ranchi is a big place. I am sure you will get pet friendly hotels there.
