Just found you. Delighted with your clear and approachable explanation of this unusual Art. Received my Kolrosing knife from Pinewood Forge. Wish you would consider producing a Book. Thank you for Sharing and Teaching.

Oh, the technique part was so helpful! The tendency to angle like a pencil, that was an issue I had. Thank you.

Thanks Liesl, that was a great refresher course. I saw your demo last year in Milan, and bought my Pinewood Forge Kolrosing knife. I haven't done much yet, but I have made some messes on popsicle sticks. I was hoping to see you again at the Spoon Gathering this year, but of course that's canceled now. Maybe next year, I'm just transferring my registration to next year. Stay healthy and thank you for sharing your tips and grips. I'm looking forward to your next video -- curved surfaces.

Wow! Really great video that takes the mystery out of kolrosing. I was afraid to give it a try but now I might! Let me know when your next online kolrosing class is - I’d love to attend.

Liesl, this is the best introduction to Kolrosing that I have found! Thank you for providing such good instructions and explanations. I am brand new to this craft and want to experiment with different pigments. Have you used anything other than coffee or cinnamon to introduce color to your designs? I'm looking for suggestions but I'll also be going through my spice cabinet to see what I can play with. Thank you!

You're a great teacher! I just found out about this aart today and very excited to learn it. It seems like a great alternative to wood burning. Can it be done with heavier lines?

I boiled mine in milk but now I just use some milk paint without pigment. The result is the same, the wood is sealed but it´s so much quicker
