I didnt understand why you need to apply base coating , Seems substrate is plastic and you would use HMDSO inside the chamber . So can you explain me why you have used base coating in the process ? If you metallize aluminium substrate , applying base coat is logical but with plastic I didnt understand the reason .

@@KolzerTechnologies yes but you can do it without using base coating .I mean this . Base coating is expensive and scrap is high .
