Yes, Charukeshi is originally from Carnatic tradition, but adopted to North Indian style also.

Same composition sung by maam is thumri in other channel. I think the singing style defines the same composition as dadra or thumri.. Correct me if I am wrong!!!

@@MrSoulCR She is certainly worthy of being appreciated, but not my cup of shastria sangeet. Young as she is she has a long way to catch up though. Nevertheless, i have great respect for Ajoy Ji's versatility. He has got a good hold on it since his younger years for sure. Jio Ajoy Ji !

@@syedkader8712 try Venkastesh Kumar. Classical music is almost extinct in this era. Very few good classical left. Too many good classical singers has passed away recently.
