Schönes Video.Das waren Einblicke die man sonst nicht sieht, es waren sehr schöne eindrücke von innen. Ich sah es zum ersten mal einen Harvester von innen.

@@GreatLakesLogger The orbitrol was for the harvesters mainly a german market option, to follow regulations specific to Germany. In forwarders it was sometimes bought by other markets too since operators wanted to actually use it. Harvesters and forwarders are not classified the same way. Regulations changed a while back which forced the orbitrol to be a ”standard” option on most markets in the stage 4 generation. But the stage 5 generation has done away with the orbitrol all together, full steer-by-wire instead of hydraulic orbitrol as secondary backup.

@@GreatLakesLogger Many customers during the interim period removed the shaft and wheel directly after delivery, unlike the machine in the video. It’s really in the way, even in the parked position. It was a leftover from older machines, now replaced by a jog when in ”road mode”. During forest operation the toggle is used.
