As a 29 year old operator who started playing on my fathers 20 ton excavators when I was 5...This guy has to be the best and most informative operator on KZbin. Keep up the great work!!

I should have watched this video before I commented on your other video regarding the automatic greaser. I assumed it had one. But ya. Cool. The one I ran back in 2000- 2005 had the auto greaser 2 weeks after I started using it. It was a Rammer Hammer. Not quite as big. The excavator was a Cat 225. It was a little bit beat. So much that 1 year after getting it all broken in.. The whole valve body assembly came off the frame and had to be welded back on. LOL. We did a few mods to the 225 as to making the track pads smaller. Cut each one with a torch. It had a foot pedal actuator for the hammer. and that was custom fitted to the floor and welded on a pedestal to accommodate my big foot. I see you have the trigger on the joystick for yours. Wish I had made a few videos of some of the jobs I had to do. Like in Biddeford Maine for a Super Walmart. They did a lot of blasting. And also it was on 9/11,. That I was there. Cause that's what we all remember where we were when that happen. So ya. Many stories to tell of many jobs done. Just like the one you're doing currently.

It's pretty impressive watching your company grow so fast, good job! Now you'll need a portable crusher for all that rock!

supposedly there was a german company that got a contract for building part of a highway in Norway, a big rock hill had to be removed and they rolled up several 70 ton excavators with hammers and started banging away as they normally do. well when the smoke cleared they did see they did just barely scratched the rock hehe.

thats an awesome machine we put a Ramfos TF30 on our Doosan DX255. That machine looks like its in great shape for 10K hours.

Make sure that the "quick oil" Engcon coupler doesn't offer to much flow restriction on the return line. That's a sure way to create excessive heat in a hammer. I'm wondering why your Komatsu dealer didn't try to sell you a "Komatsu" hammer (re-branded Toku hammer). They are great hammers and used to be sold in the US as BTI hammers (until BTI was bought by a holding company and then switched to Korean sourced hammers). I have a Striker TNB 190 (5,500# breaker) mounted to my 245G. Toku is directly marketed in the US under the Striker name. That's a big step up moving to an 80k# machine. I'm glad that you have work for it now. Hopefully your workload won't get fouled up by Covid19.

Nice new machine nice shape for 9000hrs they work alot better when the pumps r turned up but we lift alot of heavy trench boxes and komatsus r usually pretty weak from factory we had our 360 and 490 turned up as soon as we bought it.

Good size machine thats for sure
@tasgeir82544 жыл бұрын
On a lot this size would it not be better to drill and blast the rock? That is wath we would do in Norway.

So are you having to haul a bunch of rock off to get down to grade or is the house going to sit that high up on the hill with walls to tier the hillside?

all the rock is being used on site to level the front yard. Not sure about walls I am not doing the landscaping

Not that I’d like to see you lose work, but why don’t they blast it? That’s a lot of noise for the neighbors vs some drilling and precision blasting.
@DirtNinja4 жыл бұрын
Not allowed to blast here becasue of a lot of already bad wells in the area. Too much liability.

DO NOT USE QUICK CONNECT FITTINGS UNLESS THEY ARE OVERSIZED... they reduced the hydro flow and it wouldnt hit right on mine....The company I am with now got some komatsu equipment 4 years ago brand new. I am in a 360 right now and a 228 a year ago. Both machines the bucket pins failed... they cracked , flaked and the 360 actually broke in half. It's the second time on 360. Only the outer 1/8 inch of pin was actually hardened... KEEP AN EYE ON THEM
