Okay. So far I have unlocked Revenant Kitana and Revenant Sub-Zero from the Revenant Skins. Revenant Kitana is basically giving 250 respect points in KOTH (it doesn't have to be in the same lobby. Just give out 10 respect points in each match to unlock it faster. There will be no pop-up, but it'll be there in the costume selection of Kitana.) Revenant Sub-Zero can be unlocked by completing TYM tower. Revenant Liu Kang is gonna take a long time for me to unlock (since I'm not that skilled in playing online. Also I'm getting really tough players as my opponents, so that's gonna hurt). Revenant Kung Lao is basically winning 30 klassic KoTH matches (as said by many people. Also, you need to play publicly and win 30 KoTH matches in klassic, not Survivor (really hope there's a better method to unlock it). Revenant Jax, well, people who have no 2 controllers are screwed (since you need to chose 2 player and go to kustom kombat to win 15 flawless victories in a row. I also hope there's a way to unlock that skin without a second controller. By going to Test Your Luck or something like that. Hotshot Johnny Cage. That, is going to be extremely difficult to unlock for a beginner like me (since it requires a 10 match winning streak in Survivor KoTH, and I don't have a friend to do that, so, there goes that (hope there's a better and a more easy method to unlock that skin too). I really hope that Gnome Lord will give alternate options to unlock these skins (if possible, offline).

There isn't a definite drop for this skin. Some people get it at different times. I got revenant liu Kang in my 33rd rank match. So whoever out there is confused on why they didn't get it at 26 ranked matches play more matches and eventually you will get it. :))

Aaron Sepulveda Unfortunately not. I think what you are thinking of is the Hotshot Johnny Cage costume which I believe is won for 10 straight wins in KoTH Survival. I could be very wrong. That being said however, all you have to do for this costume is earn wins in Ranked 1v1, no streaks involved. Good luck!

Don't feel bad Raihan, I wasn't always good at the game myself. It took years of practice, and by that I mean I've been playing games in the series since I was a child so they always have had similar mechanics that have carried over through the years. Just keep on practicing and doing your best, eventually your are bound to get matched up with a Ranked player who is just as new as you. As far as I know, inviting players to a private room/match will not count as Ranked. This was probably done on purpose because otherwise players could go into a room with their friends and technically rank themselves up if their friends were willing to lose to them.

Since Hanzo killed Quan Chi and Quan Chi was the key to bring back Kitana Liu Kang Kung Lao and Frost to the "good side". Is there any other way to being them back or is that the end of them since Quan Chi is dead. Or can Raise use his powers to bring them back.

Good question AtomicDab. Quan Chi was one of the strongest Sorcerers in all of the Mortal Kombat franchise and his death could be seen as lost hope for bringing back the other characters, but it is tough to say in the long run. I say this because Shang Tsung was also considered to be equally as powerful as Quan Chi. While Tsung is dead, if you beat the Ermac Arcade ladder you will actually see a story where Tsung is able to bring himself back from the dead by draining Ermac of all the souls within him. Now the the arcade stories may not be cannon to the timeline of Mortal Kombat but at the very least it suggests to us the possibility that even perished sorcerers such as Shang Tsung can come back to life in the proper conditions. That being said, it's possible either Quan Chi, or even Shang Tsung himself could make an appearance in a future game via coming back from the dead thanks to magic, and as such either willingly, forcefully, or through bargain be made to bring back the characters we know and love.

I got 26 Ranked Match wins and nothing happened. Then I win one match on Towers mode and surprise: Revenant Liu Kang Unlocked. There's just really no single solid way to unlock this costume in my opinion. The only thing I don't like about the costume is that he dosen't do Bruce Lee screams. Other then that I think the Revenant costume is the coolest looking one compared to his other ones.

Thankfully, as far as I remember, you did NOT have to do them all at once. You can get a couple ranked wins, turn off the console, then come back later and pick up where you left off should that work best for you.

Not impossible, but extremely tough for sure. My best advice is to not try and get all of your victories in one go unless you really want it quick. Get maybe 1 or 2 wins a day, then move on to something else. It makes it less stressful and anxiety inducing. Ranked can be super hard at times, but if you want the costume bad enough, you will earn it. Choose a favorite character, and give them your time. Cause once you finally do get that costume, you will not only have earned access to an awesome costume, but you'll have earned the right to call yourself a dedicated player.

madmikedx Hey there Mad Mike! So long as they are Ranked 1v1 Fights in Public Rooms, you should still be able to unlock the costume even if you made the room yourself. Again, just make sure it is Public, and that you are fighting Ranked 1v1 matches. Good Luck!

Jim 07 You will need to fight him 1 v1 Ranked Public. To do this, go into any public room, or make your own public room, and then just fight each other till one of you gets the costume as desired. Just make sure it is a Public game as Private games don't count I believe.

Did you only play as liu kang? I have 25 wins and played with mixed guys and dont have it... halp I also have 34 disconnects... maybe that affects it?

GreenShot Hey there Greenshot. When it came to playing online, I actually never used Liu Kang, I used Erron Black all the way through. That being said tho, the guaranteed number is not 25 wins, but rather that is usually the lowest number you can unlock the costume with. Also keep in mind it is Wins you must have directly, so of course losses and disconnects will not count towards this unlock, however they also should not effect your win score. My best advice from here on out, would be to continue to aquire wins because some people have reported to me getting this costume as early as 25 wins, or as many as 40 wins. He said to win in online matches and dark emperor also requires you to be online in towers and you have to start new towers and do it ten times which it sucks for me because my broke ass doesn’t have online and if i did id get my ass whooped countless times because it’s been awhile since I played mkx and Liu Kang is like the easiest character to master but when it comes to me I can’t get his combos down correctly

Sorry about that Chris. I have been unable to make a video where I can properly teach the "Ragdoll" brutality. So far, I have only managed to perform it twice in my entire MKX career, and that was button mashing. As a result, I don't want to make a bad video where I give half baked information. If I ever come up with a perfect Jax method, I will post his video.

+William Hicks - Have you attempted to use this method yet? I can promise you it works, it can just take a little patience and skill but in the end you will have an awesome new costume. Remember to be in a Ranked 1 v 1 matches and acquire 25 to 40 wins in this mode, and you should have this costume in no time at all. Good Luck!
