0:30 this is not the Gambit yet. This is the Tarrasch Defence. The gambit occurs after black plays 4. ... cxd4

Yeah, that was a pretty massive commentary blunder 🙀

Yep... You are 100% correct. It's not Hennig Schara Gambit until black has gambited a pawn after 4...cxd4

Komodo CHESS may be very expensive , being a professional/ "FOR SALE" Chess engine..... But , as far as the ""savagery/onslaught"" mood is concerned , I have always ranked this MECHANICAL DRAGON just below our BOSS "Stockfish Chess Engine" & Then , all others as per CCRL

9:13 actually you can’t take a rook with a queen at the corner Because your queen will trap But you can take other rook with check.

what was stopping white from play bb2 the whole time he was under threat (threating mate in 1 on g7)
@villager97304 жыл бұрын
6:43 but what if you take the rook on a1, allow Qxg7 and play Queen d4+ forcing a trade? Even after queen takes rook takes tricks like Bb2 dont work cuz Rd2 picks the bishop up
@danty92294 жыл бұрын
After Qxd4 Rxd4 white can play Ne2 first and if black plays Rxb4 to stop Bb2 it doesn’t work cuz white can play Ba3 or Bd2 hitting the rook on b4 and a discovered attack on the knight on a1.

I find myself preferring Komodo to stockfish. It seems more human in its playstyle.
@supernukey4194 жыл бұрын
That's the goal of Komodo. Stockfish looks ahead. Komodo thinks with less depth but considers more possibilities

Anyone think komodo stronger than SF11? :) I thought
@erikasilva61544 жыл бұрын
It isn't. The only engine stronger than Stockfish 11 is Stockfish 12. Komodo is strong, but not as strong as Stockfish, Leela, Allie Stein and Stoofvlees.
@sooooooooDark4 жыл бұрын
2:08 such trash to move queen all the way back..anti development..not protecting c3/e4... the opposite of a multi purpose move (which wouldve been qc2 instead which the engine played 2 moves later anyways 😂)
@johnmeo15324 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same (why not Qc2?) but I think the reason not to is that it allows the knight to come to b4/d4 with tempo and you'll have to move back to d1 anyway. Yes it's a sad move but it's the required punishment for taking the pawn!
@Doc92IDH4 жыл бұрын
2 moves later, the d4 square is protected. It wasn't previously, so the fact that it moves to c2 later isn't really relevant here. It's a very subtle difference in the position, but these engines can calculate far above anything we can, and as John above points out the Knight having access to d4 is hugely important. Multi-purpose moves are pointless if you're forced to move again the next turn anyway. If there's a real trash move, it's Qxb7 to begin with.
