I was wondering the same about teak handles. You need 4 pallbearers for that lid. There's a place in Texas that makes something like that to move the Kamato Joe's. Your my hero getting the cooker off the trailer. I'm looking forward to how the deflector plates work, how you situate them. The fire. Box divider seems like it is more centered than the 32". Other than Steve Rachlen smoking on 42 your only individual that has one and putting out video.

😄 Thanks, John! I don’t think anyone has ever referred to anything I’ve done as heroic. Near as I can tell, there is a multitude of combinations for placing charcoal and type and position of heat deflectors. I used the factory supplied heat deflector stones for the initial burn-in but It’ll take some experimentation to figure out which combination works best. Thanks again and have a dandy day!
