I love this one - it's a standout on the album. One of those long songs that goes nowhere but it's fascinating. But I've always wondered if there was a version with less hiss, or if it was a deliberate stylistic choice. A couple of other songs on the same album sound odd with headphones so I can't tell if there was a fad for bitcrushing, or they were all recorded in the same studio, or if they had a bad batch of samples, or what.

I always get him mixed up with Donnacha Costello, who was on a couple of the other Pop Ambient albums - they had a similar style, basically twelve minutes of the same thing, but it's fascinating.
