dudes ok...hes good for his age not 5 star tho. BUT TYPICAL PLAYER UW GIES FOR. either tall white post guys or wing white shooters.then they'll offer the low rank brother thats a guard who is a playmaker- shooter or they'll get lucky and grab a star but fuck his whole game and stick up w that weak offense. i was on say team that used some of the badgers offensive schemes alot of hitting the post ALOT , they like 4 passes in a set before anything

First off, don't get caught up in "stars", it's a big mistake. And nothing about Lorne Bowman or Chucky Hepburn is "low rank". Some folks think points are more valuable if scored quickly. Another mistake. UW came from 22 down to beat Indiana w/o changing a thing regarding their pace. It's about getting good looks & guarding, taking care of the ball, and limiting extra looks. All of those things are considered boring to those who value style & recruiting stars over winning. As for Knueppel, he projects to a role-type guy who may develop into a starter as a college upperclassman. There's plenty of championship-level teams that have had guys like that; they're invaluable. It's not about the "star" rankings. Coaches know more than some recruiting "expert" trying to sell a mag or a subscription to his website.
