Wobbmin Flowey does have emotions, it just doesn’t have any empathy or ability to connect to them since Flowey can’t love. Flowey can be happy (like when it kills someone), angry (when you defeat it), and afraid (when you kill it). It’s just that from Flowey’s perspective the feelings are empty and hollow, devoid of all substance. Add in the time reset power making all of its actions meaningless and it becomes all the worse.

I’m only speculating here, but I think Frisk died by giving Chara their saved file, but without a saved file, Frisk can’t come back to life anymore. So basically Frisk chose to sacrifice themself so Chara could live a a good life. I guess that’s how determined Frisk was.
