Red reboot doesn't fix the inherent problem with trap cards, it simply removes them from the game until everyone cuts their red reboots and trap cards become a problem again. The problem for trap cards (and any controlling strategy) is that everything is a one card combo. They aren't viable if they're 1 for 1s because card economy will lose the trap enjoyer the game. The way traps can be viable is fading a turn, but the player going second only plays one turn, so they simply end the game. But the playerbase doesn't view 2 turn games as an issue, let alone as why floodgates are so powerful.

Grass should definitely come back to 1. The only thing I'll say is that it can be searched off Triple Tactics Thrust, so that may be a problem in some decks. But as long as we're in a handtrap heavy format, I don't think it'll do a whole lot in most decks.

@@rezzytheskyguy It's not something every deck can do. Most meta decks cannot do it. You have to build your deck around it. Grass is at 1 in the OCG and MD and few decks run it.

I have another idea for pendulums; put supreme king starving venom to 1, but only 1. Pendulums can only play it. Is at 1 in ocg and master duel, and not doing anything, and give a big boost to pendulums with more interesting plays.

@@XxHygherUpxX victory dragon is mostly on the list to avoid judge calls. Because you can literally just concede the game on attack declaration, and therefore victory dragon effect (in tcg) can never be forced on the player. The only way for it to work is for the player to not know they can just concede on the last attack Dec, and from there lose the match. In the ocg, victory dragon is a strong card because there are rules from conceding early

I don't think you understand competitive Yu-Gi-Oh enough. Savage definitely deserved the hit just like Apollolusa should be hit this list. red reboot was banned way before lab was made and it's another lingering floodgate that is just as bad as io. Lingkuri was helping snake-eyes and other decks dodge handtraps plus with sp in the format. Simorg could come back because it was banned for bringing out barrier statue. Cards that could come back is meow mu,shs link 1,summon sorc with errata. I know casually you can think certain cards are fine but sometimes you need to deep dive into things, the fun you had with certain cards can blind us from the problems they create.

Agreeing on the savage hit but saying apollousa is needed is crazy, go talk to almost any pro player and ask if the card is healthy. I'm not trying to look smart but I believe his takes on certain cards make no sense like red reboot being banned because of lab when it was banned years before the deck,savage dragon did nothing wrong it was snake-eyes, linkuri was banned because it was a one card starter which was correct but he completely missed how it was used to dodge targeting negation.

Predaplant verte should be unbanned nobody is playing bricks like dark magician and red eyes to make dragon the only problem with verte was it was a little ahead of its time but with every fiendsmith card being live and full combo in every deck verte isn't to much of a problem
