thats because they are professionals,not wannabe's who try too become famous. same as evanescence's My Immortal,has been ''covered'' a awfull lot,and non of them were actually succesfull in it to the point where by you wanna listen too it. on the exception of kfir ochainon but he plays guitare only. yet he owns both this song as my immortal. worth checking out

I read somewhere that James Cameron invited James Horner to his house to decide on the music for the film Titanic. Horner himself played this song on the piano in Cameron’s living room. After her was done and without hearing anything else Cameron told him he got the job. Unfortunately the composer James Horner is no longer with us, small aircraft crash.

I've hear this version so many times, but this one really gets me emotional. The way their voices pair so well together, how the kids in the background adding to the beauty, the musicians, and lastly; the bell ringing just gets me every time. I don't know what it is about him banging on the bell, but it just makes me cry every time. It's like the perfect addition to make it hauntingly beautiful in a way. Probably making me think of all those souls who froze that night.
