Dude when you smoke weed and go mega white here in the UK we call it a whitey. It has something to do with blood pressure its why you go as white as a sheet to combat it you need to get your head below your heart so laying down stops it, ive had it where i can lay flat and as soon as i sit up the blood pressure still isnt right and you can feel it immediately you just have to ride it out and lay back down it takes no longer than 30 mins. But yeah its strange that in that moment of the whitey its like all your worst thoughts rushing through your head, i have also fainted from a whitey in a chip shop and other people have had a whitey come on while also being in a chip shop a change in the heat and then a change in breathing patterns to combat the heat creates some crazy blood pressure maybe, but also its an anxiety thing where your own mind can bring it on it starts going into panic mode through paranoia/anxiety about it coming then you change your breathing pattern then its like its unstoppable and its coming and there aint nothing you can do about it so the fear of it coming can also bring it on...

When I was younger I did lots of these things. I never had a bad trip. I ended up being the one in our friend group. That everyone wanted to be there when they dose. I just always knew that it's like when you get on a roller coaster. When you sit down and strap in. You're committed until the ride is over. But the ride does end.
@SoggyMoppenheimer14 күн бұрын
Same here, friend. Hundreds of trips, and never had one I would say was bad. Perhaps a few tense moments(and I do mean moments, out of thousands of hours) but never even close to "buggin"...I was always the one that talked people out of their bad trips, or the one that had to deal with the cops while everyone else freaked the f+$k out. My mantra and advice was let it take you where it wants, because you're going there either way. Better to embrace it than fight and freak, because just like being sober, you'll enjoy anything much more by not struggling against it.

Your right, Terrance speaking could make the phone book interesting. I love listening to anything from him. He was such an entertaining, witty and charismatic man. He truly made deep contemplation and the use of psychedelics less scary for those that might find hallucinogenics useful. As we are seeing, psychedelics are becoming quite significant in many medical fields. Also so much less stigma around psychedelic use that hopefully any adult wanting or needing to have an experience can and will be able to have it without the fear of incarceration. It was great hearing about Terrance from his brother. I loved hearing such a balanced, different point of view on him. The old stories were told fantastically. Plus, Dennis McKenna is quite interesting to listen to on his own. Thank you for having him on. Great guest. I hope I can attend the virtual seminar he spoke about as it sounds fantastic.

On New Year’s Eve, I tried making a mushroom tea for the first time instead of eating them directly, and it was a game-changer. I used Shakti mushrooms at a high dose, brewed with rooibos tea, lemon, and a bit of honey to sweeten. Not only did it taste great, but it was also so much easier on the stomach. The experience came on gently and smoothly, making the whole journey feel magical. I highly recommend tea preparation-it’s a much more pleasant and digestible way to enjoy them. It's definitely something to explore!

At what point does Dennis start talking about “ancient beings hiding in dmt hyperspace?” I don’t see it in the time stamps offered by Danny
@yinyang23853 күн бұрын
Towards the very end but he brushes them off as just an internal experience when in fact these are very real. They ate interdimensional entities that exist within a dimension of space around us that we are unable to perceive with our physical senses. Dmt allows the conciousness to disconnect from the physical body and be able to enter the dimension by matching rhe frequency that this space is vibrating at.

@@MacalleySageDennis in my opinion has always been more scientifically minded where Terence was more artistically and philosophically minded. I also think Dennis is getting to the age where he wants to make a name for himself and secure a lasting reputation in the scientific community. So in a sense he has to come at everything through that lense.

Thank you both for the engaging conversation ✌🏻🖤 P.S. cocaine should be legalized.

@willythe413 күн бұрын
Also VERY easy to skip. Double tap the right side of your screen to skip forward 10 seconds or simply fast forward manually a little bit. If a couple of short ads are enough to turn someone off or away from a FASCINATING long form conversation then that sucks because you’ll miss out on some really good stuff. Also keep in mind that Danny and other creators we enjoy do this as their job. It’s absolutely acceptable that they are compensated in some form for all their work, particularly work that they choose to share with us FREELY. We’re never forced to become channel members or subscribe to their Patreons, it’s always an option for those who wish to become more involved and support on a deeper level. I’m not saying any of this to be rude or dismissive, I promise you it’s entirely the opposite. I used to get VERY impatient and annoyed with people’s ads until I came to realize the points I made above. Then the honest bottom line is simply this… if we dislike the ads so much, then WE can support the creators to a comparable level so they wouldn’t even have to have sponsors and ads etc. Just my thoughts in response to another curious viewer’s frustrations. I hope they made sense and possibly got you to be less frustrated 😊😁😍🙏
@rjhgn8813 күн бұрын
@willythe4 i realize this and sometimes let the ads play for 30 seconds so creators make more money.. but I like to listen when I am in the sauna after the gym and leave my phone in the locker bc I dont want water/heat damage on my phone (sometimes hitting next and back works to skip). Normally every 20ish min is fine, but the freuency on this video was way more than that, it was ridiculous and I had to find another podcast bc I couldn't keep going out of the sauna every 5 min (I listen 2x speed). I know Firefox had an ad skip plugin and I'm tempted to go that route if it's gonna be like this all the time
