KONE Polaris Elevators @ The Watergate Hotel, Washington DC

Recorded 7-7-18.
Former Montgomery elevators. I skipped the JW Marriott to come to this place because not only were the JW Marriott elevators over-filmed, but that Polaris are rarer than Miconic 10. These elevators are efficient and look very modern. They fit well for this hotel. However, their configuration is very strange because this is a hybrid system with KSS-570 fixtures inside the cab. I guess they couldn't afford to install Kone Polaris call stations on guest floors and on the roof. I think this is the first hybrid destination dispatch system in America too. And some elevators have in-car lanterns. I've only seen Car C that has one. Still the elevators run nice and the bar on the roof is spectacular.
