Must say if i were to do 28mm 'scifi' again it would be K47. Love your litttle vampire hunter squad. Makes sense they would have them if Germans had vampires. Makes me think of the Hellsing anime

As you have probably guessed, I like it and would definitely recommend over pretty much every other game I have ever played.

Cracking vid! 😀Great to see more K47 content on the internets. Looking forward to more to inspire me to finally paint my Brits. Love those Tommy-bots.

Me too, knightmare to put together though, I ended up pinning almost every joint.

Love your Konflikt 47 collection. I've started to do quick unit reviews and K47 Lore videos on my channel. I play as the Imperial Japanese, have just shy of 2k points, still painting them, haha.

Excellent collection, brother. Always good to see folks break WEIRD. Hope to see them on your Weird WWII battlefield sometime too. Keep it WEIRD!

I like this army, its a nice collection. I normally play Bolt Action but I added a bit K47-stuff the last years. Its a nice weird game. Hopefully Warlord does a K47-add on for Blood Red Skies as well. I mean who does´nt love those German flying saucers?

Impressive force. I was also a big fan of Warmachine, the focus system was a nice resource management sub-game. Haven't looked at K'47, but I must say thise mechs look very nice. Is it possible to do a full mech force? If so I may have to see about getting my lot into this.

You can run a pure vehicle force (the rules are in one of the suplliments but it's basically bolt actions tank war) but it might have balance issues. If your opponent brings a decent amount of anti tank you will lose very quickly, if they being too little you will steamroller them.

We found a good compromise is if you both agree to one normal platoon (some dudes and max 1 light and 1 heavy vehicle) and one armoured platoon ( all the vehicles). That means you end up with a more balanced game but still have plenty of room to field all the nice toys.

@@ScruffyCrow thanks for the info. Will have a look at the factions and see which take my fancy.

New to war gaming and like the idea of alt ww2. Are you able to kitbash and create any figures and army or does it need to conform to rules. For example could I create an alt ww2 figure using say boer war and Australian parts.

The British rules cover all the commonwealth and you can pick specific traits to match. You have to follow the unit rules but if you can come up with some fake history any uniforms/factions can probably be justified

I would love to know more about your Churchill Meteor. I have a couple of Churchills and I recognize those missile pods. Curious as to how you mounted them to the turret?
@ScruffyCrow3 жыл бұрын
The missile pods are from Zinge industries, I used some bits of spru and random parts to build the little frame for them. if I was doing it again i'd probably use the middle part from Zinge too, I put it on the turret so I can swap it over to alternative turrets. I like using the AVRE Petard version.

what's the game got compared to original bolt action? kinda read its got run for cover and return fire actions... but not i'm not finding that much about it.. Im not specifically interested in setting but im looking at walkers and tanks and looking to fill a kind of sci-fi star wars legion gap 15mm

Rules wise it's basically just Bolt Action. The only real difference is that you get to take more wacky units like mechs and werewolves. And if you already have A BA army it's all compatible. The new units do change the way the game works because the new units are as unreliable and they are powerful and the game sizes tend to be bigger because you want to take more of the fancy stuff. Jump troops/vehicles and more powerful weapons also make it a bit more fast paced than regular BA

Wish all these minature games weren’t so damn expensive
@recording_closet91003 жыл бұрын
Bolt Action is pretty good in terms of money to minis, at least compared to 40k and stuff

Scruffy, I started following you after seeing your request for a shoutout on Nerdrotic, but I only just got around to watching your videos. Is there a game you don't actually play?
@ScruffyCrow4 жыл бұрын
That was ages ago! I don't play infinity.

Also did you notice I still use that shout-out in my intro. I was well happy with that, it made my day. Best fiver I ever spent. Gary (and Jonny Watson) pretty much inspired me to start making vids.

been doing warhammer 40K and never seen this board game was a thing mostly thanks to GW's aggressive defence of their IP recently.
@ScruffyCrow3 жыл бұрын
Its a great game, either this are bolt action are a nice replacement for 40k especially if you have any interest at all in WW2. cheaper to get into and a much better/smoother set of rules.
