Godzilla has his movies, he had his spotlight, and his plot - killing Ghidorah and becoming King what is the next story? He was basically the same character in both KvG and KxG. We get it he rules with dominance.. when kong will rule by respect. If they use kong for monarch we have a chance to explore more of hollow earth, see his ape troop, see him battle new titans.. there is way more possibilities with the character. Godzilla is great yes but he’s just there looking pretty and ruling his story is on hold until destroyah comes out than maybe he can have another movie solo. I stand by my point let kong shine for a little bit. Monster-verse aren’t Just movies they have comics books too. Which I haven’t yet read but look awesome. I am also pretty damn sure in time they will move on from kong to focus on Mothra… the Monsterverse isn’t based one 1 Character (Godzilla) it’s based on a lot of legendary titans.

I love Kong, I think he’s a really great character. But personally I think he’s been getting maybe a bit too much screen time in the Monsterverse. I was really hoping that in Legacy of Monsters we could get to see and learn more of Godzilla who is practically absent for most of the movies he is in including his own standalone films. He played second to the Mutos in 2014, second to Ghidorah in KOTM, played second to Kong in GV/XK and had a painfully minor role in season 1 of Monarch yet he’s the poster boy of the monsterverse. That's just godzillas character, he's there to protect the world from any incoming threat. He's not a character that is supposed to evoke sympathy or an emotional connection with the audience, that's Kong, which is why not much of godzillas past is shown

I think monarch legacy of monsters season 2 should adapt both birth of Kong and the skull island anime in the monarch show for example I want to see Kong and the hawk from the skull island anime adapted with live action features similar to the ion dragon kind of and I want to see apex smuggling in some death jackals and skull clawers and show a bit of the dome and even the iwi people also have the hawk die in this which makes Kong become aggressive emotionally I would also want to see the red forest from the skull island anime and Kong's giant temple from the skull island anime and finally they can make Houston brooks the new lee Shaw in the series before they find out lee Shaw is alive in Axis mundi for example we can see how Houston meet Randa and even how he got married to San Lin and even explore Hiroshi and Keiko's mother son relationship and I also want to see Houston's interaction with Keiko and maybe Houston was the one who gave Randa's footage to Hiroshi which explains how they have Randa's footage and also have Kong and the hawk team up to fight the Chameleons from skull island anime mother long legs trapdoor crabs mantle claws and skull clawers coming out from the gamma ray portals on skull island and I would also have the series bring Godzilla into the episodes Aswell so yeah those are my ideas
