In searching for a beautiful place for shooting our videos.
On the 22nd June 2024 we drove towards Mylliem village via upper shillong.
On reaching 12th mile we turned to the left entering a small road. The narrow black carpeting road leads us to Mawan locality under Mylliem village.
Just a few kilometres we saw a sign board of Mystical Rose Resort. We have heard and enquired about this resort from our friend who travelled along with us. We turn right to enter into mystical Rose Resort.
We drove down the black topping narrow road. Passing two vehicles is very difficult. A caution driving is required before reaching the location.
As we approached the gate of the resort we could see down the green pine trees and and river. We parked the vehicle at a compound of Mystical resort. We took a view down to the river. The sky is bright sunny day. Clear blue sky but dotted with clouds over our head. Then we headed down the river called " wah umiew" which flows down to umtyngar and wahniangleng etc.
The way down to the wah umiew is steep with stones pavement. We descended down in haste. We couldn't wait to reach down the beautiful and green grassland on the shore of the river.
We were mesmerized by the beauty and greenery of the surroundings. As the water flow gently downwards. It’s a gentle whisper in our ears, a soothing balm for our souls, and a reminder of the beauty that surrounds us.
This is not Europe or Kashmir. This is not the foot of the Himalayas. This is Khasi hills. God gifted natural beauty.
We could feel the The Serene Embrace of Nature.
The rustling leaves of the pine trees, the chirping birds, and the gentle breeze all come together to create a symphony of peace. The sun shines bright, casting a warm glow over the landscape,
In nature's embrace, we find solace, comfort, and a sense of belonging."
For in nature's serenity, we find our own serenity, our own peace, and our own sense of wonder.
We took a walk by the river while the breeze tossing our jainsem like a wave on the surface of the river.
We took photo shot by shot.
We captured videos one after another around this serene and beautiful place.
Along the side of the river there are vegetable plantation field. We couldn’t resist but to inspect the growing potato green leaves at the field.
As we stroll alongside the river. It was a shocking experience to see that trash like plastic, bottle, chips packets and so on are scattered around by the river.
Some people with no civic sense or mannerless have thrown and scattered these thrashes around the place.
Without hesitation we picked up all these thrashes and clean the place around and took back all these thrashes to throw to the bin.
So our sincere request to the visitors. Please ! Please !
Respect Our Rivers. Don't Throw Trash Along the Banks
Let's keep our rivers beautiful and healthy! Throwing trash alongside the river can harm aquatic life, pollute the water, and destroy the ecosystem. Instead, let's dispose of waste properly and keep our rivers clean.
