King Kong was one of my favorites in 2005 . The dinosaurs were so awesome. Peter Jackson really made Kong more scary and funnier. But the dinosaurs he really made them more exciting.

It would be AMAZING if they re-released these figures. The 20th anniversary is in 2 years & Playmates still has the license to make Kong toys so hopefully we’ll get it. These toys get alotta love & attention online and are very nostalgic for people so they would make so much money. Here’s hoping

They can’t, Playmates doesn’t own the license on 2005 Kong. They have contract with Legendary pictures, not Universal (they still own 2005 movie rights). So nope, it won’t happen at this point + the toyline failed back at the day, hence there are so many of them on eBay

Wow, I had nearly all of these when I was a kid. The dinosaurs like the T-Rex and Crocodile had limbs that were held together by a string, which you had to wind up to tighten. Then you'd press a button on the spine to make it release and pop all the limbs off, effectively "killing" the dinosaur.
