Not sure what made this series the best: Calle, Maria and Magnus just being themselves or everyone, but especially Mia being so openly against Jon. 😂 Mia sacrificing herself at the final task is up there as one of the most legendary things on any tm production for me. An instant favourite for sure! 🤣

This is, by far, the best Taskmaster besides the original. Norway's "Greg" in particular captures the essence of the role better than most. He's got the perfect blend of authority and humour.

Agreed. I think it's the moustache; it gives Atle both an air of authority and a weird uncle vibe, which together really works for this version of Taskmaster.

I'd agree. Taskmaster New Zealand was good, though. But sometimes too try-hard to just copy the original dynamic between Greg and Little Alex Horne.

It's unfortunate that Atle has stepped down as Taskmaster. He's been replaced for the upcoming season (7) by S1 contestant Bard Ylvisaker.

I'm partial to Sweeden's version. But I agree, Atle is the best Greg. The Mostashe partly makes up for a half meter of height, but his round head makes for a good trophe! Oh, and the way a teddy bear was able to play him in puppet theater (dukketeater til å tenke skit in E9) was just perfect.

Season 6 is pretty great, too! And it's been renewed for a seventh season. A Christmas special was also filmed, but it unfortunately won't be airing for the foreseeable future.

Poor Maria. I really like her, my favorite contestant. Taskmaster is so tough on her. She can't win anything, not even the prize task. I thought the gift cards were worth more than just one point.

@@doubleT84 I don't know, I thought the gift cards were pretty relatable. I have gotten plenty of gift cards to places I never go to and I have given some away. Sometimes I bought a gift card and not long after that, the store went out of business. And she framed them, too! I thought it was well done. Maybe not five points worth but not as bad as 1 either.

@@travis303 If they are not usable anymore, and you don't get anything from them, their value is 0 and they stop to be a gift card, though. It's a collection of paper and plastic being former gift cards. I'd say my 3 points are generous.

​@@travis303 Once the time's up, these cards are just garbage, they even cease to be gift cards at all. For the socks, you have the potential to find the other one. The balsamico shouldn't be thrown away until "best before" date is reached. The teeth have sentimental value. But the cards are just worthless trash. And I don't get why you're offended. I wasn't even ranking the gift cards lowest, not even second lowest. stfu

I want to know why she _keeps_ the odd socks. If they are unique enough to not go with new socks, use them up when loafing around the house, or use as rags, or in crafting.

Re expired giftcards: For a few years now, here in the USA gift cards may not expire. Of course, the establishment may go out of business, but that's rare since most of these are for large corporate chains. At least by displaying your collection at home, along with family photos and the like, it will illustrate the issue and dissuade people from giving you more! What you should do with gift cards you don't use promptly is re-gift them.

Yeah, same in Germany. Gift cards can not expire. Even if you still have one with an expire date on it, it doesn't matter. The store has to accept them.

I think Jon should have been disqualified in the candle task. The board didn't 'blow' the candle out - it smothered it like Maria's water smothered the flame. I love watching Scandinavian task master. Please load up more episodes for us. 🙏

I skip the title and intro of the contentions, but start watching when the prize task is introduced. Why not list this point also, before the point you list for the first regular task? And label it accordingly, rather than "video begins" which is simply not true. Too bad the uploader didn't bother putting in chapter points. But IAC, it's easier to just hit the right arrow a few times than to find some non-pinned comment that lists the points of interest.
