A Konig doing its stuff. look and learn. 2 stroke GodBike. Watch it slice through the field like a knife through butter. It's like it's in a different league..

This looks to be a parade most riders going steady on there expensive classics though it is nice to here that stroker giving the business.

pretty quick Parade, he's changing gear within 500rpm of the redline, great to see these bikes out and being used for what they are designed for, but no need to send one down the road on its side!

Ik heb Hans De Wit al een paar keer tegengekomen met de ECHTE König, laatst nog in Gedinne, Hans is nu 78 jaar.... ongelooflijk. De sound van die 2-takt boxer.

Wasn't it that great Kiwi rider Kim Newcombe who unlocked the potential of the Konig engine?

Kim Newcombe made the Konig what you see here He took it to second place in the 1973 500cc World Championship behind Phil Read

....and rank bad track design killed him, causing König to give up road racing....such a shame on both counts. Who knows how far both of them would have gone?
@ChuckMarteau4 жыл бұрын
As well as 3-time Endurance World champion rider Christian Leon, of France, although he never completed a full GP season with it (no budget). He did win a few International races in France on board the Konig. He once told me that Kim Newcombe deserved a lot of credit for riding this bike so well.

actually that patons are incredible fast for a fourstroke two cylinder vs a watercooled twostroke four cylinder........ and two times with passing them you came out of your "comfortzone".

Is this machine of a larger capacity than those he’s riding with? He’s eating them up like they’re short of a gear.
