M Boyer is a legend of Konkani stage in his own right. His compositions of songs have deep meaning and purpose. What he sang in 1996 about man's unplanned actions are leading to destruction of environment due to deforestation, air, land and water pollution, have almost come true. Diseases due to pollution and other environmental disasters seem to be well forecasted in his song and are indeed happening now.
