A few things 1. Their success is not more important than your content, the worst AEW gets the more views you will get. 2. I can guarantee Tony Khan, and probably a lot of AEW wrestlers were fans of Disco Inferno because he was a tremendous worker, the hate came when they “hero” turned they back on them. 3. I wouldn’t be surprised if his father told him not to reach out to people in the industry for help, because they call him a money mark to his face.

Another thing to remember is the NBA rights deal is up this year too. That is priority #1 for Turner. How much money is left for a wrestling show after they do that deal.....AND they're still nearly 50 billion in debt. I'm not saying they don't get a deal, but it's hard to see them getting a significant bump

If the network draws more viewers running decades old Big Bang reruns than showing this product... What is their incentive to not just put the old stuff that they own the rights to already & cost nothing to produce vs. incurring new costs by upping the rights fees for AEW? Who is the network bidding against to air this? If I were the network, I would charge Tony for the airtime since the product drives off 300k people in the 2 hours it airs

AEW might be in trouble with the Warner deal. The NBA deal is likely to stretch WB to their limit, and AEW can't get any momentum going. If the Briscoe tragedy hadn't happened, if Punk was there, if Tony could book to save his life, and the company drew viewers? Sure. But... it aint going to happen.
