Disco saying what I said for months on these videos while people insisted it wouldn't happen: It's not McMahon's or HHH's decision anymore. It's Endeavor's and Endeavor still has a professional relationship with him where he does commentating for them on UFC. They have structure and can lay the law down with him and the issues he had problems with in AEW are not likely to happen in WWE since there's more control over the locker room. WWE's locker room has also changed and become less toxic when he was trying to come up. I did not even consider though that he could just slip into Edge's slot, and take on the part time legend role.

It's worth bringing Punk back for the sole reason of trying to bury Tony Khan and AEW. If WWE brings back Punk WWE will have scored a former AEW World Champ, TNT Champ and TBS Champ and three of AEW's biggest stars . Obviously if WWE brings back Punk they instantly gain all of Punks fans which Disco states is about 100,000 viewers. WWE can completely dominate the Chicago market and use Punk to solidify that market while driving AEW out of Chicago. Also, Punk will boost video game sales, merch, toys. CM Punk who is easily the worst fighter in modern UFC history literally knocked out one of the Young Bucks. He and Ace Steel got the better of three men who initiated a physical confrontation and all three are billed as top guys as well as being EVP/founders. He then chokes out Jack Perry who's been billed as a "pillar" of AEW since day one. WWE can completely make AEW look like a bunch of b@tches to be blunt. Ari Emmanuel, Vince, Khan, HHH, WWE is being ran like a well oiled machine at every level. WWE brass is in corporate shark mode and they smell blood in the water. Vince McMahon has the natural drive to dominate via "ruthless aggression" business wise. Dominate they will too. It's only a matter of time until WWE is destroying AEW in ratings.

The fact that he has no experience in the least bit whatsoever but nonetheless appointed himself as head booker of his own company and still continues to book this day despite the fact that AEW still hasn't turned a profit and is consistently losing ratings tells you all you need to know. If he really, truly wanted to succeed and actually elevate the industry he would have hired industry insiders and formed a booking committee and appointed that committee to book. The discourse around wrestling got so toxic right when Punk got fired. AEW existed before Punk, it's not like the entire promotion was built around him from the get-go. I think he could be headed to Impact some of their roster are talking about him being welcome over there. Plus people forget Anthem has money they are just careful with it to stay in the black they Own AXS and other stuff and our upgrading their production they needed AXS to stabilize them but are looking for a bigger tv deal since AXS is a niche Channel. Punk easily gets them a bigger tv deal plus he has more creative control in Impact and while making less then AEW or WWE money he will still be Impact's highest paid somewhere in the Millions so its still good money. I also think Punk would like the challenge of helping Impact rise to be #2 again over just being a high profile guy sure but just another guy in WWE it's a whole new game for Impact to get back to #2 over AEW if they land say the CW where WOW already airs or go to FOX when WWE leaves.

They have money they just are ran like a business to make profit. I think they are just very careful who they offer a big deal like this too it likely would still be less then he made in AEW. Tony spends too much Punk could have made more then anyone in WWE over the past 2 years. Idk what the offer would be I'm thinking 2 or 3 million but they could make some of it up on the backend if he wants more offer to pay him when they secure the new TV deal. Wouldn't be bad for either side if he wants like what 5 Million pay him half now and half later when they get the tv deal.

I'm still convinced it has all been a work with WWE and AEW working together. It worked out very nice that Punk got fired just in time for Survivor Series in Chicago, also nice timing on Edge's contract coming to an end at the same time.
