Karrion Kross got a strong booking when he returned on SmackDown under HHH but have proven not to connect with the causals as well as the hardcore, something about him just doesn't click, he needs a character change, HHH gave everything to him to succeed with girl, HOF manager and a tag team but Kross just fails. HHH gave LA Knight a jobber start but he got over with the fans in no time so much that WWE had to push him. Kross needs a 360° change and needs to stop interacting with the fans on twitter.

To me this gimmick is like compilation of remakes from movies that didn't sold out very well. With Wyatt things i think that swamp family thing stick up the most & for the longest time, sock puppet house series was entertaining when he has prepered ones before re-debut, but Fiend-Jason Vorthees stuff never really felt like going anywhere or having meaningful payoff to sb down the line. Bray gimmicks was always form over substance but he had some potencial in delivery, i wonder why he didn't try luck in some indy horror movie or other things outside of wrestling when he was still alive since he was so passionate about horror subjects.

I personally think The booking of them is perfect for the time being. they're being treated as an attraction, which seems to work well in this case because none of them are really established and too much of them at this juncture would get stale pretty fast. they still get big pops and put on decent matches. I just think they're smart with taking time to implement a good storyline for them. This just needs some time to do it properly.. I feel the same way about The final testament. they're both good factions they just need time to get established.

The Sick6 are the type of group that don't need to be around full time. Don't drop them. Use them sparingly like every few months, they reappear to confront who needs to be confronted. They have a short program with said person(s) where they win or lose "teaching" their opponent the lesson they needed to be taught. They disappear like a ghost after, and their opponent(s) start a new journey. Like with Bray vs Randy or Bray vs LA Knight or the Sick6 vs Gable. Sometimes it will work. Sometimes it won't, but the gimmick is worthy to keep around imo.

They will keep having lights out apperances, heels get some heat back & after VHS poems that won't say anything and a match they'll disapear to move on some Carmello, Escobar or sb like that. They aren't supernatural. They haven't done anything supernatural like Bray Dis, at least not yet. They have a mystical aura and they wear masks, that's it. I do agree they should have feuded with the Judgement Day, but I believe that's left for WrestleMania. They went after The Miz because he had betrayed R-Truth and the Final Testament picked a fight with them and aligned with Miz to fight them. This story has elevated Kross, which is good, and I think it'll soon kick into gear again. Triple H's way to tell stories can be frustratingly slow sometimes, but it always pays off and I don't think this angle will be any different.

I don't think it is a generational thing. The Whataburger picture was a mistake. Wrestling fans want to see the character from the show, not just some goofy actor. MJF built his entire career on the fact that he's the same character in the ring or out in public. That's how you get something like this over. And it isn't just wrestlers. As much as i don't care for it personally, the fan photo wouldn't get them "heat" now a days. If that was they case they would have ended the gimmick before their first program.
